I think I'm still one of the few people who isn't sure about this and cannot really believe this is happening. But also want to get my hands on this asap.

Well, I know it's songs that they like but I don't know whether they covered the songs are they are out in the original version. All I know is that they are out in actual cassette tapes, which I found interesting. Might try to hunt it down and see if it's online somewhere...

No, I haven't. Is it out digitally? It's just covered songs right? I'm a bit confused with the whole thing as I haven't been keeping up with them much.

I couldn't get into Fantasy at first as it was such an out of place song. Quite jarring on the first listen. Everything flows nicely and than you have this! Lol. But! After a few listens, it's actually growing on me. It's like the album is taking a break before getting into it again. :D Agreed! It reminds me a lot of TLF - not so much Antidote.

If I do have a complaint is that all the songs sound alike. So I can understand why one would get bored of it. I'm enjoying their sound so I don't mind it. Don't mind if they keep it for their second album too. :D Anyone else think that the guitar work in most songs sounds so much like Foals? Or is it just me? :P

Interesting. In a weird way. I actually cannot believe this is happening. Why is this happening?! I'm not hating the idea, but I'm not liking it either. Why do this? What's the purpose? So many questions...

I thought it was too soon for a reboot and was a bit skeptical about AG playing Peter/Spiderman. I watched it this afternoon and I absolutely love it! The characters in this version is so much more likable - Peter Parker especially. Love this version of Peter. And I think AG and ES stole the show. Great casting for those two characters. I liked Rami's first Spiderman. Spiderman 2 was ok. Spiderman 3 was the worst thing ever. Comparing Spiderman 1 to this, I think this wins - mostly because of the characters. They are a lot more fleshed out than in Spiderman 1. Plus AG is NOT annoying at all compared to TM. Lol. And yes, I did do a mini squee when Coldplay came out. :D P.S Someone should move this thread. ;)

It's been a long time since I liked an album on the first listen! Even follow up albums to my favourite bands had to grow on me after a few listens! Haha. I'm absolutely loving the Intro btw. Is there a longer version out there or one with lyrics to it? Or is the album version it?

Holy crap! I think I'm in love. Just stumbled upon Shelter on Spotify and am listening to their album currently. I'm loving it! It's amazing. Cannot believe that I haven't heard of them before. Shocking. Really looking forward to their new one in Sept. :D

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the title of this thread! Will it be a comic comic or those motion comic things? I think it would be cool if it was the latter. And maybe be bonus material for the live DVD! :D

I've been watching their live stuff online lately have been wishin they would come to NZ. Never thought they would come to Christchurch as well!! They look great live. Can't wait. :D

I was a huge fan of them when their first album came out. Thought it was brilliant as the sound was very different to what was on air. Then the second album came out and everything went down hill from there. Their sound is so commericalized that they don't sound like the band from Songs About Jane. If I didn't know better, I would have thought that they were two different bands. I understand that bands need to evolve their sound as time goes by but bands who do that always hold on to that element of music that makes them who they are. Maroon 5 pretty much threw out that element. Wasted my money buying the second album, didn't bother buying the third after hearing their single and was pretty much shock to hear they have another one out. I don't mean to come in here and talk shit about the band (as I hate people doing that in my fav band threads) but I needed to rant. :P Also, anyone else think Levine's voice is getting worse by each album? I cannot stand his voice anymore. I literally have to mute the radio whenever that crap Payphone song comes on.

It sounds very old school that. Or maybe it's just me. I don't hear anything from Resistance in it. :laugh3:
