I intended to throw in a bit of sarcasm there with my post. But however, I don't see why I/we shouldn't be happy or for anything be excited about this because, as I see it, only good could come from it all eventually. Haha, well it's nothing like Christmas man! And there is another Eid, which is Eid Al Adha. Comes usually in January. This one is called Eid Al Fiter. And for anyone who wants to know, Eid translates more as celebration in English. We celebrate the end of Ramadan (our fasting month) with this Eid which last three days. We serve sweets and desserts, put on new clothes and visit our families and friends during it, basically. :smiley:

Those scarves are such rip offs, if you ask me. To take something as traditional as our red-and-white checked scarfs or the white-and-black ones that Palestinians wear and turn them into these outrageous colours to make some sort of a trend out of them is such a turn off for me and I find it a bit offensive. Just hope it'll all end soon. :-/ And here they are in its original form: Our Jordanian one - Which old people here use to wear on their heads sometimes, as seen here - And here's the Palestinian one - -- Anyway, just want to say that I wooove scarves!
