  1. hey piano-players http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WYgx-GVHiU (awesome by the way) at the beginning: what is chris playing with his left hand? the beginning, so before the guitar starts and so. i mean, i have the sheet, but there is something different written. (sorry i have no idea of technical terms in music) in the sheet are only 3 accords written anybody understood?
  2. ok i will try and send it, if have at time. have a lot things to do at the moment. if the recording is too bad, just leave it
  3. thanks a lot for realising your perfect idea! i onla have a digicam to record it... mmh how important is the sound-quality?
  4. @byron: i learned piano without a teacher. look on youtube, look on wikipedia how to read notes and stuff like that. i am playing for 6 month now and it is possible to play whole coldplay songs after that time, without a teacher. but i will take lessons next month good luck and just try (and you should have a keyboard or piano, otherwise it will be difficult)

What do you think about E-Pianos? Why i am asking you...: we have a piano at home, but i want to play some music with my mates, so i have to transport the piano. this does not work, so i need a smaller and not so heavy one. also because in about 2 years i will leave home and move away to study, so i need an own piano. but for a real one i do not have enough money and space in my future apartment. So, what are your experiences with E-Pianos? (I tried one at my school for a second and it sounded nice.)
  8. yes i know and he made me playing piano(, thanks ryan). but these videos are often pretty short and only show how to play the chorus and it is often played by ear. I think it would also be nice to learn a whole song and then compare it to the notes to try the next song maybe on your own. don't you think? i am learning hardest part and clocks at the moment. when i finished i think i will do a complete "how to" and post it here. hope then i will have sth. to record it
  9. Hey musicians! Can anybody make a "how to play ..." video? if possible exactly like the original notes. i know that this will take some time, but i often wondered in this forum how much time some people spend to help other people. this is not especially for me, although i would also watch it. this is for everybody who wants to learn how to play a coldplay song (or other song). then he can compare this to the notes and maybe even learns a bit how to read notes (would also sth. for you, doritji:) ) If anybody is interested feel free thanks (if a similar thraed exists, ignore. i could not find any by searching)
  10. hey i also started to play piano some months ago. so would you like to have sth like this F-F-G-B-E-CC (just example)? i know at the moment you just want to play some melodies, but also if it sounds unbelievable to you at the moment, someday you will want to play a complete song and not only some melodies. so try to learn how to read notes. look in the internet (youtube: "how to play piano") or take a teacher good luck

  17. oh mmh. i looked a lot for hardest part appearances in the internet. but could not find any
  18. Hey. I wonder why i have never heard anything about live appearances of "hardest part" or "a whisper". Both are official album tracks, hardest part even a single. Is there a certain reason, why they do not play it live? or has anybody seen them playing it? Does anyone think the same about other songs? :( :( :(
