at least by the general public (in the states) radiohead, the white stripes and modest mouse are far from being overrated. by some critics maybe (well not radiohead but the other two possibly). muse isnt really even known in the states so they cant be overrated here. float on (modest mouse) is the only thing by them i'd call over-rated (more like over-played)

definitly no!!!! 311 should burn in hell for ruining a song by the cure my suggestion: anything by cradle of filth jk, i like jeff buckley, some elliot smith works good, occasionally change it up with some classics from the 70s

and thom sounds quite a bit like neil young at times. what's your point? radiohead rocks my socks neil young is a musical god and muse is one of the best young band out there

i'm not really a big stones fan but most of the bands i listen to and love today wouldnt be around now if it weren't for the rolling stones. the stones changed music forever and are the greatest rock band of alltime according to many. many people. they belong in here much more than madonna, elvis, u2, or marley

Johnny is amazing. as for best guitarist of our time, trey anastasio (from phish), tim reynolds, robert randolph (from Robert Randolph and the family band), regi wooten, buckethead, and ben harper are all up there. i really can't rank them.

i'm voting for guy even though i'm a dude. i mean come on he's hot even i'll admit it and i'm straight as an arrow :embarrased:

in all honesty i don't listen to them. their studio stuff is tolerable, but when the crowd is singing louder than them it can be simply unbearable (mtv unplugged cd i borrowed from a friend once)

i love pearl jam! yield is my favorite album of theirs. i'm currently addicted t disc 2 of lost dogs though
