New purchases... High waisted navy pencil skirt with bow detail from Forever21. Floral cardigan from Forever 21. Yellow striped sweater from H&M. I felt like spring shopping...:P

This was one of the first things I thought about when I started making friends here. And, as horrible as this sounds, when friends haven't been on in a loooooong time I start to panick...:uhoh: But yeah, with facebook and all it's hard to hide it. But it's still creepy.

Haha awww don't worry about it, Grace. Shit happens but when it's good, it can't be SO bad. Man, I wish things are pretty happy now. :sad: But there's always to be good and bad parts in life that happen all at once. Bad things make you appreciate the good things.

I can believe that. Because I'm the same way. :P I'm very liberal (where as my parents are pretty conservative) so we butt heads a lot. I don't want to sound like I'm 'up it' or anything, but a lot of the things I've learned about being my own person and all, I didn't learn from my parents. I choose not to get drunk and be sexually promiscuous, etc. not because my parents tell me I shouldn't, but I choose that for myself. I choose to want to do good in school. I choose a lot who I am, and I know a lot of it my parents don't approve of. So all my life I've basically had to pick up from elsewhere. That being said, I do connect with my mom a lot better than my dad. She sometimes is an inspiration for being successful and working very hard.

Oh I love this thread! :nice: I get inspiration from a lot of different places. From people that I admire, whether they'd be my friends or a celebrity that I think does something good. I also read a lot of different blogs, so I get a lot of inspiration for fashion and cooking from other people as well. Music can inspire me as well. A song that can motivate me to do something is great in my eyes. :D

Yeah, I know! And I hate how everything is so goddamn expensive at the movie theater. $4 for a frickin' box of sour patch kids! I could get it for a dollar elsewhere. :P

I will have to get my running shoes there for gym class. Running in chucks was manageable for three years, but now I think I'd be more motivated if I had proper shoes. :P

Oh, I know! I'm just a person who really likes time to themselves. I guess I'm slightly antisocial, but I just love not having obligations to some other guy. Don't need to call him, care about what he's doing, just stupid teen relationship stuff. And it's not like I'd ever have a guy for a relationship anyways. :P I am the biggest commitmentphobe ever.
