I'm hoping the same thing too. I also feel that X&Y is not as great as the other two. It's not disappointing, true, but I just felt that there's something missing in that record. Hard to explain. :\ I agree with you Awhisper21 and all of you. We all want something new but it's still got 'Coldplay thing' on it. Hope you get the idea, lol. Well here's a quote by Prospekt I took from coldplay.com. It really sounds promising and I really hope it is as good as it's written. That's the most important thing imo. When you're working on a new album or anything without pressure or burden from your past achievement, you can express yourself freely and explore your ability. And surely it will comes up with a great result. Let's hope that this is the thing that they experienced. :)
