around june last year is when i first heard of this band. so i bought everything that people... and listened to it a max time of 2. their album is now in a box gatherng dust. i can't connect with their music for some reason :/ i'm not critisizing them, i don't even know their music well enough to make a proper judgement. mind you i'm probably missing their style or something, i don't know. any suggestions of their 5 best tracks so far? that would be helpful!

the beatles, arctic monkeys, sigur ros, snow patrol and radiohead. all these are not necessarily who i'd vote for but they are my predictions. mew is definitely in round 3.

caught 3 movies lately. apollo 13 | 10/10 amazing everytime i see it. one of my favs. tom hanks is incredible as always. the entire star-studded cast delivers an amazing performance. if you haven't seen it, see it now. incredible story that brings out all emotions. memoirs of a geisha | 9/10 the most impressive aspect of the film is the beauty. everything is beautifully placed and the artistry is amazing. the story didn't fully captivate me but the scenery did which was more than enough. little miss sunshine | 9/10 first time to see this film. i was expecting something more from all the top reviews i was reading but regardless i think the intertwining concepts is brilliant and really interesting. a great cast.

thanks Annie :) they are cardboard people of different colours. it's actually an anti-howard campagne etc. they are stuck to sticks that are jabbed into the ground, it really was a sight close-up.

i often feel the urge to travel. just leave everything and go. i'm very spontaneous in that making a trip across the country is really likely given the urge is strong enough. i always wanna go to some remote place with no people, simply get away from civilisation and seek whatever it is i'm searching for [yeah, in one of those moods atm]

sounds like you had an interesting day. last year i went door-knocking for the leukaemia foundation with my little sister, and this year i did it for the red-cross with my dad, it's a nice feeling. today was ok. lately i've felt myself getting drained and today i felt it the most. i missed my bus, twice, so i had to walk 2km holding my duffle bag packed with books that weighed a tonne. not a good morning. then went to some lectures then headed to the train station, again carrying this ridiculously heavy bag everywhere. did some chemistry on the train which didn't help with my online test which has further made my day that much worse [i should explain that my bag was heavy because i had all my books which i was taking with me for the long weekend at the sunny coast] so my journey via different modes of transport physically wore me out. walk->busx2->train->bus->walk all while i was carrying this bag. i'm making a deal about it because it was a bloody heavy bag, even left marks on my shoulders. today was just tiresome and quite disappointing. i think i'll devote this entire weekend of chemistry which i can't fully grasp atm. the only great thing was knowing today was friday!
