i got my semester results back and i'm still in the running to upgrade to vet science next year. ahhhh i'm so excited but i'm also very sleepy so g'night coldplayers :D

sit on a beach with a great friend and watch the sunset and the moon rise... i did that 2 days ago and it was beautiful. an amazing feeling :smug2:

ocean's 13 give it a 9.5/10 pretty funny at bits and quite a smart plot once again. shrek the third hilarious movie, was laughing out loud in the cinema along w/ everyone else, definitely watch it, 9.5/10

initially i considered atghk my fav, but now all eyes are on frenger. tbh i've only been listening to mew now and then, nothing like before. i feel very mew-ed out atm. too much mew make kathy sick - too much of anything make kathy sick lol the upside is i'll listen to them in a few months and fall in love with it all over again like i did with coldplay.

i stayed up all night talking to Will during out first convo - very like me to talk to someone i've never talked to before from night till dawn, blame mew and the smileys, and 5am was a walk in the park, i paid for it that day at work but the laughs were worth it :wink: :laugh3:

it's been months since i bought an album. i haven't had time to scope out new music. i have been musically deprived, and i am partly to blame as i was quite reluctant to listen to anything other than one particular band (which i've totally over-played and now need a break from). ^ i agree about arcade fire. i just got into them and they have some great music.

^^^ just the title makes me sick. i'm all for a good laugh but this is just disturbing. i can't imagine my friends and i laughing out heads off at dead baby jokes, but it's uncomfortable to think others find it hilarious.

things you must, must do... fly a plane - absolutely amazing! attend a concert or massive musical event. visit akaroa, nz one of the most beautiful places on this earth. ride a motorcycle. go skiing. go scuba diving off the great barrier reef. i'm trying to remember some really fun things that have happened so far that would also mean something to other people lol

lol today there was something like 44 people viewing the WOM thread, and approx 100+ for the COLDPLAY thread. i haven't been here a lot lately but i've noticed quite a few newbies around here which is great, the more the merrier! :smiley:

i still buy books, cds and cook my own food. in many ways i am very thankful i was born when i was, just before the peak of the technological boom, so i'm not completely swept away with ipods, myspace, mobiles with countless features that allows you to communicate with everyone without moving an inch etc. it feels the world is getting more and more disconnected with each other despite all these new advances aiming to make things easier and save time (time for what - spending with family, which we never actually do because we are pre-occupied with whatever the new fad is - it's a viscious cycle). i prefer the 'traditional' way (which wasn't that long ago) and hopefully it persists to survive in this technologically advancing world. it will with me anyway.

^ that's insane! i have a big family, couple of brothers and 3 sisters. they use to spoil the oldest till everyone else came along, but now that everyone has virtually left the nest besides the youngest, she is getting spoiled. since i'm in the middle i can't win : ohwell : lol

i love indiana jones films. i was thrilled when i heard they were making a fourth. wrinkles or not, i'm sure it will be great as long as they stick to the old style of film-making they used with the first three. the last crusade gave a very complete ending-feeling so i'm interested to watch what this one will be about. you can't really get bigger than the holy grail. anyway yay, can't wait to see it to be honest!
