absolutely ridiculous. the idea, interesting; his ways of applying them, crazy. aiming to drop the population to a sixth its current size is mind-puzzling. yes we are becoming overpopulated but dropping down that much is unnecessary and insane. it's got extermination all over it. he essentially wants us to stop and fast-reverse back to primitive times. that is never going to happen. we're going to keep moving forward. it's in our nature as humans to keep pushing the limit, but this guy has obviously had it. he needs help and fast. crazy i say again.

right now i'm watching the final run-through of the 28 performances during the 15 min countdown. i always catch eurovision every year without fail lol whether i want to or not. i turn on the tv and boom, there is it. it's true, it's always fun to watch, always entertaining, not to be taken seriously at all, atleast not by me lol some of the acts this year are just crazy, most sound the same and others left me with a :uhoh: look edit: oh i got to say, just watching to hosts is cracking me up. the commentators are saying the most ridiculous things :laugh3:

aw that's terrible. it's encouraging that they both feel the same way about things, esp for Nico. hopefully they work things out as he has more time to spend with his family as the rest of the guys do. a shame regardless. :\

she lives in Brittany but has moved to Toulouse to study. i've told her i wanna see music festivals and travel all over [within time and money constrictions of course lol] and visit normandy beach fronts then up north to belgium to see bastogne. so it's slowly becoming a done deal. i'm going to keep an eye out for mew's traveling plans as well, j u s t i n c a s e ! :P have i posted that i love that song? :smug2: good good, we can start brewing up some creative ideas for the comic!

so an end to the Blair government. it was going to happen eventually as it will with other political leaders but i wonder what this will mean in terms of international relations. in other smaller nations, political leaders aren't in as much spotlight as Bush and Blair so to some extent this change interests more than just a handful of nations.

that sounds like a great plan Nadia, we should persue it! i finally got around to checking out Jonas' contribution to the frenger comic. haha aw made me laugh quite a bit. re. the 3rd video diary lol what a colourful entry, now we know Jonas isn't the only one to wear colourful sweaters. Taiwan? i would've never have guessed. that's so far off from what i was thinking. could you post the link to that comment Josh? hm, that destination seems way random. to be honest i doubt they would come to Australia to do a single show, that and i don't think they include Aus with the Asian continent, but as usual, i am still hopefully lol that's good you're taking a year off, it's probably the best thing to do esp since you're considering going into medical sciences. do the whole backpacking thing and visit the world! i'm going to do that too next year, a friend of mine is heading to African during the june/july break, lucky lucky her but due to Cyn's wedding i can only travel end of year. oh travelling, next best thing after music and animals imo! :nice: have fun! @ Nadia, spontaneous travelling, wouldn't that be great *reflects back to amazing race* haha. that is sweet. continuing from my previous entry... i decided i don't need a tutor. once again i've devoted most of my weekend to chemistry so things should start to shapen up. it's weird, whereas before my studies were out of control and everything else was great, now they are the complete opposite. i miss my dear friend. he listened to everything i needed to say. such wonderful people do exist. i'm glad i can look to other people who give me a different insight to how i am, but i don't want to be to dependent on them because that doesn't leave a lot left for me. i need something but i don't know what it is. i can't even describe how it feels. nothing painful or sad or necessarily bad... i'm rambling now. to be honest with myself, i know exactly what it is i need, i'm just terrified to admit it, i don't want to explore that side of things. hm. life has so many variables, it's hard to keep track! ah well, tomorrow is another day :smiley:

it's great. you should watch it from the start. the only way to go especially considering it's long twisted plots. as long as they start letting up with some secrets, i don't mind.

aw thanks Nina, however i realise what happened. if people can recall the real dilemma i had with my hard drive you'll know that the 2 things are related. the new one they put in has a few of my files rearranged so all those albums i'd ripped into the itunes folder were no longer sent to my itunes library. that is odd but as soon as i get home today i'm fixing that immediately. i figured it out where all the cp album tracks weren't on my ipod either lol i had a sudden but brief heartattack but i'm ok now. thanks again :smiley: now for some sigur ros news. i just got this amazing poster from this little uni function. it had thousands of posters and i got a huge takk... one. aw i'm off to get it laminated and when i get home [no.2 priority] i'll post a pic. aww more than compensated my pregvious problems lol

major dilemma. ok not really but i'm still deprived. i don't have takk... on my ipod anymore. i have no clue where it went. i have to tough it out for the rest of the week. i have all their other albums plus others, [hehe even the glosoli vid because it's amazing of course] but shesh... oh well shesh

i am a huge fan of the woman. her music is so inspiring and down to earth. i've got heaps of favorites. little things and the truth especially are amazing. her and brooke fraser are really good. both are pretty uplifting. a must hear imo.

yeah it would be fascinating indeed, fingers are still crossed! i've actually heard about the Leakey family. no idea how that stuck in my mind but i did. what an opportunity, i'm glad you got a lot out of it, hope i do too! [if he accepts that is] on a different note but mew-related-ish-kinda, i was walking to my stop and there was this kid in front of me he completely had Jonas' dress sense down to the T. i felt like i was looking at a miniature version of the man himself. jeans, sneakers, shirt, black jacket, okay reading that back it sounds like any old person could pull it off, i guess you had to be there but i had to grin to myself nonetheless ;)

on the topic of David Attenborough, our uni has invited him to present special lectures for our biology courses. !!!!! . i am so excited! i hope he accepts, it would make everything mean that much more. we watch his docs all the time in lectures, they are amazing, not that you guys would need reminding. anyway just thought i'd add my 2c oh yeah, and that time on the ledge is amazing, i'm addicted to this beautiful song all over again. yikes gotta go to chem [yay for me :tongue: lol]

brokeback mountain 9/10 first time to watch it. all i can say is wow. this film really is touching and the acting was superb. i tried not to have any built anticipation about it but if i did, it lived up to it. i missed a little bit from here to there but that didn't phase me. anyway, i everything about this film is beautiful. esp the scenery.
