It will surely leak really soon. Only 12 days to go. I suppose by Wednesday the album's content is known to all....

Anyone who is worried about band not touring EL, I don't think that'll be the case. I'm sure we'll see a few concerts but definitely not arenas this time. It might be something a bit more grounded. The album sounds like it's infused with Global Citizen-ship. It seems it has affected Chris' writing as much as anything else (love!).

This album is just full of surprises and Guns is no different. This wouldn't have been included as a bonus track 10 years ago! Everything was so polished from start to end but here you can see the message is more important than the medium so to speak.... it doesn't matter to the band if it's different sounding even if it's some folk song if it has a good message I think that is their message. But surely Chris' Global Citizenship and his activity with them has HUGELY INFLUENCED this album.

1. VLV 2. GS 3. AROBTTH 4. AHFOD 5. Parachutes 6. MX 7. X&Y Where Everyday Life stands, I'll try to fit it in, but it looks a top three contender for me.

I think if for the next live performance they are again dressed this way, this is going to be their "stage outifts" then.

So far we have Chris wearing his torn t-shirt (surely on purpose) and no love button because love sign is printed on the t-shirt: he's got sun and moon signs on his pants, and I think also on his guitar strap you see "...and heart and consciousness" Shoes are nike custom, what he wears anyway? Band otherwise dressed casually....

My opinion is that we can only be happy with Coldplay!!!! The song itself, it doesn't lift off the ground much, I was expecting something after the first chorus but it's light. But maybe that was the intention. You can't write 16 songs and think they're all gonna be inventive and un-Coldplay like. It's still a very good ballad, almost like a wedding song!

Thankfully Brian Eno is back in some form or another! But it would have been cool to see him in some other track as well. Seriously amazing.

So far we cannot complain one bit. It's still Coldplay, but Arabesque could have been anyone else! Brian Eno's magic is present 10 years later as a product of his ideas since rhythm for Arabesque is just the three guys without Chris. I get U2 vibes off Orphans! But both songs are amazing in their own way.

It'll be insane if this is Jonny! It's so incredible these two songs.

My take on this again: I am Freaking shocked by the quality of the music. This is by far the most experimental they've ever gone, a lot of things don't make sense on first listen, but Arabesque is definitely most un-Coldplay ever. Sax and brass are amazing on that, completely dominating the song. The song itself is just on steroids if you ask me. No silly production at all. However is someone else singing the lines in French or am I crazy? It doesn't sound like Chris!

Both songs are nothing like COLDPLAY we know from before!!!!! Orphans has U2-like production!!

Arabesque is a song with amazing sax, and is NOTHING LIKE ANY OTHER COLDPLAY SONG!!!

First thought is this is Los Unidades! However, it is unmistakingly Coldplay. Excited though for finally hearing a new song!!! And this one doesn't sound bad.

So now we have the album cover and all song titles! :-)

I've been to eight shows so hoping I will get something surprising in the mailbox this week :)))

Surely this is authentic. The fact is they're gonna be surprising us every day, they don't want to do the same thing over and over again, this means unusual promotion which is great! I am so eager for a long album though - this might be their longest of their career which I think is exciting because with every era except VLVODAAHF I've felt there might have been more music released. Now we are getting it, and getting it soon! Looking forward to some exciting concerts as well. This will not be just arenas, this might be something else entirely. Also probably a lot of unusual places they will want to visit.

There's Eastern influence on this album again, at least on the visuals we have so far, with moon and sun represented in many flags of Arab countries. But then there's also that strange mention of Jordan, and Chris had visited Jerusalem several times. There might be some exquisite performances they have in mind in very exotic places. But then again things will be revealed once the album is out, or at least a few weeks before when we get a new single. I doubt very much Nov 22 is just a single release.

Nothing new about Natacha Atlas being involved with this album, I think it's been rumoured for a week this. Really gonna be interested what all this means but I also hope this is a proper "era" where we get proper clothes, stage designs, etc.!

Surely they are involved with this album, why would they share the photo otherwise? I wasn't too happy with the EDM production, but it seems like the band like it alright. I don't have a clue how it all fits to the album's theme (but then again, we don't know what the album's theme is!!!). We just have to wait and trust the band to present us with what they surely think is their best effort yet.

Top idea so far - not sure if it's actually him or not but that guy at the piano is definitely not Einstein. Wondering what to make of this all...but the solar eclipse of 1919 is mightily important in terms of this album.

Nothing wrong with snippets featuring other artists or movies....has happened on every album so far in this or the other form.

This feels like it could be the undertone for the entire song. It might be they're going really back in time this time!!

It's very fresh, I also believe this snippet must be the end of this song and also if you remember how they teased previous singles, I'd bet this song will be out by Wednesday :)
