I think they will play 'Lost?' for the b stage part..solo piano by Chris. But any kind of setlist guessing is only that, pure guesswork. Can't see 'Amsterdam' featuring regularly on the tour, but 'Warning Sign' was played a lot of times and that one seemed to be completely out of the equation at some point. Could also be 'Us Against the World' is used for B stage (piano solo) instead of x stage with Will (like it was at the festivals). But again, pure guessing. Hopefully they will play regularly 'Politik' again, along with 'Strawberry Swing', '42' and maybe even 'Green Eyes'!
  4. And then a tour will follow either in Dec 2014 or will even start in early 2015, which is what Jason wrote some time ago on his twitter.
  5. They're keeping very quiet with the news regarding LP6. I hope it will be released in 2014, but I have a feeling that this time it might be really late, not October but more late November/early December. Can't see them finishing it in less than a year but maybe they will.
  6. I've been thinking about that as well, Atlas has some FOP features in it, in my opinion. But like Debs Wild says, a lot of songs that are not finished or unreleased can be used for bits in new songs. It is kind of surprising though that Atlas seems to 'have been written especially for a movie' but its origins seem to come from 2007-2010 period.
  7. How long did Phil say the band were gonna be away - 3 months? I remember an article saying that the Martins were considering moving to LA - permanently.
  8. It might also mean the guy adapting a regular Coldplay song; taking a part of it or sampling it.
  9. However, I don't think it would translate so well into live setting. Moving to Mars being the perfect example of not doing it justice.
  10. Well, if the song originally had roots in 2010 (judging from the piano ending piece from that Xmas concert in Liverpool) that bit didn't have anything to do with The Hunger Games. But I guess the band just completed the song based on the fact that they knew it was going to be Hunger Games related - that's what it shows in the lyrics. I think it's a great song to be honest, I was disappointed by the preview but this is really incredibly good, especially when you turn up the volume a bit, you can hear the atmospheric sounds beneath. I'm giving it 9/10. :) If this is the way Coldplay are going to go, we don't have to fear for LP6, at all.
  11. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PS-NYH8_Ce0]03/09 TROUBLE - COLDPLAY LIVE [HD] IN LIVERPOOL DEC 2010 - YouTube[/ame] Anybody remembers this piano piece at the end of 'Trouble'? Sounds a bit like 'Atlas.' :)
  12. I've heard the youtube version and I wished I waited almost. But anyway, the song is really good, they structured it a bit like Moving to Mars. It's not their best song by any means but it wasn't going to go on an album or anything. For a standalone single it's pretty good but really too melancholic to go no.1. or anything - purely my opinion.
  13. Plain silly - stuck at 15% here. Why would they upload it on the torrent sites then run away? Very strange!
  14. It isn't yet on the Australian store or at least I haven't found it. But it will be out, sooner or later. And today.
  15. Someone will have to post it on iTunes from tomorrow morning where I live (GMT+1). I can't see it not leaking entirely before it gets played on the radio.
  16. Less than an hour and it's released in New Zealand in its full version. Can anyone help us? :sneaky::P
  17. Hmmm, don't like it too much so far, but only had one listen!
  18. Oh I'm sure someone will find it on any iTunes store, and before too long it will be all over the internet. But how everybody's kept this secret, I'm thinking this could really be a hit song, not another 'Lhuna' or something like that!
  19. The song's got nothing to do with LP6. The album is still a long way off, will arrive in 2014, and I'm betting not before the summer. So it's still almost a year before we get it. Ps - it would be great though for them to give away a song for a charity in the meantime, like they did with 'Lhuna'..
  20. It'll probably be out a day earlier or something, at least the snippet. Or maybe not even that. I'll be buying it though.

Don't compare visuals because they don't have anything to do with LP6. It's all Hunger Games.

I totally agree that Viva was better than MX, but that's probably to do with the fact that they HAD TO completely change their approach to creating music at that point. That didn't happen again after Viva, so it was more of the same, just more pop-oriented. I have to say I like MX quite a lot but if I am honest to myself, I think the only thing MX produced that was better was the live show and the visual identity.
  23. I don't see it happening, honestly. If they're on a three month break, as it is said, they're not gonna have new songs out in 2013. But it would make more sense that they started the LP6 tour in South America, as a sort of apology to the fans for cancelling the last one.
