You sure like your Canadian threads eh? I dont know if this was mentioned already but, yesterday I was watching 'who wants to be a millionaire' and it was a couples one. The question was regarding Canadian's official summer sport. And the woman says to her husband 'is it cold in canada', 'isn't it cold there all the time?', 'can they even play sports outside'.....OMG, it was so hilarious. Is that what people really think? I mean, Canada is just across the border, how different can it really be? Some people are just so ignorant and funny. :huh:

I heard the fanclub members had an even harder time getting tickets. U2 has formerly apologized (see what I posted in the other u2 thread) and is offering refunds on their $40 membership fee.

U2 Apologize Monday, February 07, 2005 U2's Larry Mullen has posted an apology on the band's official website to their dedicated fans who lost out on ticket sales for their world tour last week. Fans who paid forty U.S. dollars to become subscribers to U2.com were supposed to have first dibs on U2 concert tickets. But there was a mix-up when the tickets went on sale and this didn't happen. Some fans were outraged at U2 for the mishap and Larry ended his apology letter with "a note to those so-called U2 fans who are quick to accuse U2 of unseemly behaviour, I've only got two words for you..." The band has promised a full refund to any subscribers who would like one.
