I wrote a whole paper on it a couple of years ago actually. We shouldnt be playing around with food and such because we don't know the long term effects, and we dont know the reprecautions of what will happen in the long run of things. We dont know exactly how to manipulate stuff, we could change one gene and inedvertantly change another one..etc.
