I didnt expect anything like this. I thought they were slowly declining like they were on the albums before. Ode to Ochrasy was such a bore and the same melodies all over again and again. But songs like "One Blood" and "Dalarna" and "never seen the light of day" are definitly a step into a new direction and I love that! And the violins are great!

actually, im not sure whether i think the saucerful of secrets one is awful or intriguering... probably both. I love the cover for Animals, though!

I always liked this cover. Erm. Also. You know, I love Pink Floyd and Roger Waters but those covers are as fugly as it gets.

But sending each other mixtapes is something totally different. We did that twice on the interpol board. I only got mine once but this was the best mix cd I ever got! we could draw names and sending one CD to one person would kill your budget, will it?

Yeah, I'm still planning on buying it. It's not very cheap but I really want it. I think I'm actually damaging the record with my stupid player so I guess a CD would be nice anyway. I realyl want the 3cd one though... I think I'll get myself this Syd photo book after christmas or maybe I'll ask someone for it...
