  1. What a stunning man!
  2. I only log in here every once in a while now but I just wanted to add on the missing happy trail event...I noticed back in their Texas gigs that his chest hair is gone too. You can clearly tell in this one (it's from one of the Florida gigs): Sad indeed! He probably got waxed for the hot weather in the southern States, but hey it's hair...it'll grow back.
  3. Have fun tonight Coldplayers! I'm heading up to Dallas for tomorrow's show, then Monday to Houston. SO excited! :D I love when the band is in Texas.
  4. lol, my husband would be upset if I posted a pic of him on a forum (I know you ladies are nice, but he's a private person), but he really looks the most like ARROTH era Chris since he's a few years younger. He has dark blond hair in a buzz cut and a short beard/stubble. The only real difference is that he has hazel eyes. Those screencaps of Chris from the Live 2003 DVD are pretty close actually! We like having a good laugh over his mom confusing him with Chris and he does a pretty good Chris impression too, which doesn't hurt at all. ;) Luckily, he's as big of a fan as I am.
  5. What an absolutely lovely man he is. He never disappoints. lol, on the subject of men who look like Chris, I have been told several times that my husband "looks like that guy from Coldplay." Actually, I met Chris after their ACL gig and got a pic with him, and my husband's own mom mistook Chris for him! :laugh3: I'm a lucky lady - they could be cousins or something. :wink3:
  6. This is either going to be the best video ever or the absolute worst. LOL. Either way, it's going to be interesting...
  7. Maybe they're thinking of Wayne Coyne...
  8. Happy 35th, Chris. Hope your day is wonderful. <3
  9. It is over. They sounded great. Loved the interview!
  10. Yeah I'm pretty pleased with them! :D The Live Nation presale password is "blues" for those asking. General sale starts tomorrow at 10am.
  11. I picked up tickets for section 115 today through the Live Nation presale...better than what was being offered in Dallas! I'm still going to check tomorrow to see if anything better comes up. I'm not holding out a lot of hope for a great seat in the general sale! :\ Really wish the close seats weren't mostly VIP, but oh well...I'm just happy to be going! :)
  12. In 2005, I went to the simulcast of Coldplay's 1st Austin City Limits taping...the only reason I went was because we found out Michael Stipe was going to make a guest appearance. At that point, I didn't even realize how many Coldplay songs I'd heard, other than the obvious Clocks and Speed of Sound. We went for Michael Stipe and ended up LOVING Coldplay's performance and finding Chris very charming and funny. Then we couldn't stop talking about it to everyone we knew and thinking about the music. A couple of days later, we bought AROBTTH and X&Y, then a few days after that Parachutes, and then I found CP'ing. :) I also bought us tickets to see their show that February in Dallas. I always regretted not having been a fan when we saw them at the ACL simulcast in 2005, because we've been to a bunch of other tapings and I know how special an experience it can be. Everything came around full circle this September when they came back and I got to be right up front. :D Couldn't have asked for more!
  13. Well we certainly wouldn't like it as much. ;)
