I would guess 1 hour from Airport to hotel at the most. walk to venue is about 10 minutes. Make sure you tell the driver to take Riverside. Riverside will take them right up to your hotel and walk from there.

If you just have carry-ons and your cabbie takes Riverside Drive, it's doable. Tight, but doable. edit: your Hotel is just a walk across the bridge from the venue so I think it should be totally doable. Depending on crowd waiting to check in, you may have to just drop off your bags and fully check in after.

It is a live show. They record bands playing concerts is a small venue.

Well it says right in your email that you won from Coldplay.com. so you did enter. You didn't bother reading the instructions saying it was for entry only and would not include travel and was not transferable. If you can't actually go, please email them back and let them give the tickets out to someone that can.

So you aren't even planning on being in Austin, but you entered and now people on here that want to go and can't get in because people like you who don't even want to be there, won't even be in town, but have tickets. Thanks.

That's not the headphone contest, That's the tickets given away by registering on the link at Coldplay.com. Did you register by clicking the link on coldplay.com? These ticket are just to get into the taping. You aren't meeting the band and have to pay your own way to Austin.

I've been a Coldplay fan for a very long time. I have become friends with other Coldplay fans over the years. And honestly with the release of every Coldplay album at least one of those people have stopped liking the band because of the new album. Yes even AROBTTH! Friends who I thought would be in for the long haul have left in disgust, saying they were embarrassed to have ever liked the band to begin with. So what you've said here is no news flash to me. I never asked to band to make the same record over and over. I have always liked some songs way more than others. I am glad that Charlie Brown wasn't released as a single because hearing it every 5 minutes on the radio would probably make me hate it and I want to love it forever! Everything Mark has said here someone has said with every album release.
