  1. 1. Find a teacher 2. There are alot of tutorials online to find. 3. Let them hear some b-sides(most Coldplay haters only knows a song of 3) 4. Study alot of pics, and go to some stores to find something similair and play with that to get the same result.
  2. Yes, but when the time comes when there are NO tabs for the song you wan't to play.. :\
  3. Six years of playing and still on tabs? :stunned:
  4. That sounds great!!! Some advice. When the drum enters.. I miss something. It sounds empty at that moment. Fill it with some low basslines! The vocal parts.. damn why aint you famous yet? :o
  5. Great cover man!!!!!
  6. Nee, ik las van de week nog dat er weer extra kaarten in de verkoop zijn gegaan!
  7. There are a few things to try. First thing, how happy are you with the Hotrod sounds? If that is the sound you will keep forever? Buy an good PA system! And use you (line-out?) or with an microphone your Hotrod like they are your personal monitors, but with the same sound over the PA speakers! Other thing, can you add other speakers to your Hotrod(s)? Try that! Other thing, do you want different sound? Try Marshall JVM! They rock!.. Or try some Vox!
  8. See: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39159 The're my basstabs. However I'm changing some ways of tabbing them. But I only finish my tab when I can assure people they are completely correct! =)
  9. Well, I can assure you the most important parts are 100% correct( could be some rhythm mistakes/wrong things):) I'll tab Speed Of Sound soon, the full song!
  10. Haaapy Guyday eeh Birthday ! :D
  11. How to play... Glass of Water. (find out the right timing, pretty easy song.) First verse. 10th fret on E, 10 fret on A, 12th fret on E. Chorus: 5th fret on A, 4th fret on D, 9th fret on D, 5th Fret on D. 5th fret on D, 9th fret on G, 5th fret on D, 7th fret on D. Verse 2 10th fret on E, 3th fret on E, 2nd fret on D.(alternate with 5th on E instead.) Interlude. 3th fret on E, 2nd fret on E, 2nd fret on A. 5th fret on D, 7th fret on A, 5th fret on E. Have alot of fun, and succes learning!
  12. Sorry, forgot about this thread. I'll post the basstab in my basstabs thread!
  13. Or try this!: http://www.scribd.com/doc/6608506/Keane-Somewhere-Only-We-Know
  14. I have the Parachutes tabbook, but not scanned.. I'll try someday!
  15. @Icequeenn, well not like this one. But the piano part in A Ghost is absolutely brilliant!
  16. No you don't get the point of different tunings. It's not for 'playing easy'. No it's 'get the sound you wan't' If you can play notes at the 10th fret and some at the 1st at the same moment.... That's what some tunings in some songs are doing. As you can see, in a few Coldplay songs. the higher strings keeps repeating without changing. AND THAT SOUNDS GREAT! That's soo hard to find when writing songs, the perfect chords and rhythms as exact as you wan't.. Chris can do that and if you can that.. you are an truly guitar hero!
  17. That Chopin piece is so great indeed! Also very hard to play. I play piano for a good time now, but still can't play the whole piece. :shocked2: (probably because I wan't to play alot of different pieces :laugh3:) You should try Chopin's Raindrop! Or an easier Chopin song: Valse in A minor(Op.Posth.) :)
  18. No problemo! Only one thing I mistaken. You have to 'hammer-on' the first to the second note. So play the 'Eb' and hammer-on the 'F'. The other 'F' notes need to be played.
  19. Alright, I did a bit correction in it and recorded it. The recorded version is here: www.stuff4all.nl/amsterdambass.mp3 And the updated tab/sheet: It is indeed correct, 100% sure about it! =)
  20. I'll check it with the song itself now! Maybe I can record it to get the right way to play it! But the notes are right I guess.
  21. O yeah some tips about song writing: The best ideas are ideas without thinking about the idea! So, always record when you are 'just' playing some music. The best songs are created from there!
  22. For men only one tip for reaching high notes: Get rid of youre balls! :laugh3:
  25. Here it is how I play it(timed it by thoughts, not listened for the exact timings but it is pretty accurate.
