Sometimes I play it what says above. But alot times I play it different: Left hand C note. Right hand in this order from the left: G - Bb - C - E (C7 chord) After it the F bass note in the left. Then the Fm chord from left to right: F - Ab - B I play it this way because I think it is the easiest way!

I don't think it's poppy fields. I think it is Prospekt's March. Reason: On: http://wiki.coldplaying.com/index.php/Poppy_Fields there is a little lyrical line. It is in the Viva La Vida booklet. BUT in the booklet is Prospekt's March and PoppyFields behind eachother. So probably they already knew it would be a double track, and so the lyrical line is for Prospekt's March. Same as for Glass Of Water. At the right image you see Glass Of Water, however they told us that they finished the song at 4 october. But they already done it earlyer? They had the plans already for those songs I think.

For chorus (From: son.... don't ask) the root note are: D - F# - B - G What the exact chords are you can better find out. Because I found those out by playing the bass. With capo on 2 it is: C - E - A - F Mostly are powerchords/5th chords. EDIT: Ooh I see you already had that, when i scrolled in your chords! Nice work!

Indeed, but the way the book is is how I play it. I don't want to copy exact what Jonny plays. The notes are good, not the place where it been played, but the notes. I added the open E string to make it intenser. This string is probably not played at the original version by Jonny, but it is in the chords Chris plays. And maybe it is played as Jonny does on the record, we enver know what should be perfectly correct. Violet Hill is how it is on the record. You hear double notes in the solo, thats why I added the 9th on the dropped D because the sound of it is in the record. ;)

Well, Its a very cheap guitar I recorded with, got a new one now! And maybe I'll record it over, but then I'll record the record version(This was the live version)

You can do two things. Play the usual chords exact as in the book.. Or, write the chords as in the book says down on black paper. And play around with those chords. It won't be exact the same as Chris does. But you can get a nice piano version of it that can beat the original one! :)

I've found a little mistake in Chinese Sleep Chant, the second bar thrith eighth note. Isnt the 12th but the 9th fret..

What song did you heard robins32? Because the Chinese Sleep Chant are realy the right notes..

probably they won't play there:( They told at 3 october that they won't be here again for 1 or 2 years.. ;) But if they do! It will be great! Thats 10 kilometers from where I live :D

@ Aad. I use Sibelius for this. And ofcourse my guitar to find out the notes! Full tab songs will be done later. @ Ricardo. I play the lead guitar on Yes in standard tuning, I don't know how it is on the record. Viva la Vida is the part with the high notes at 01:37.
