Bands you've seen.
I'm UK so only have small knowledge of bands in US..all i have are single hits i really liked while over in the US..like Eve-6 - Here's to the night, DMB - Space Between, Incubus - Drive, American Hi Fi - Flavour of the week, Staind- Been a while, Electrasy - Morning Afterglow, Goo Goo Dolls - Broadway, Creed - My sacrifice, Train - Drops of jupiter....so I envy you US ppl, your music is in a far better state than ours...ours is all full of teeny bop, manufactured bands that are mostly successful due to looks rather than any actual talent.... Anyway back on topic...sorry :)

Queen
Very true, he was a genius, and that voice, no-one can mimic that voice. I can usually sing 1 queen song before my throat is very sore... My favourite song is "Show must go on"

Queen
OK just watch Queen live in concert at Wembley in 1986...and omg I forgot how good Freddie and the band were live...just 4 ppl, 3 with instruments, filling a whole stadium with noise. Got me to thinking, if Freddie hadn't tradgically died of AIDS in '91, would Queen still be here today, would they still be "hip", would they still be writing regular top of the chart stuff (like Madonna) or would they be more of Elton John type situation....a few big hits now again, but mainly in the shadows writing good stuff but more for fans...would they still be attracting new fans? It's all if's but and maybe's, but omg, tonight showed me again how good they were when they were in their prime, anyone ever see Live Aid in '85? Anyone else notice Queen brought it to life thanks to Freddie's love of getting crowds involved? Anyone else care? If so write your opinions :) If no-one cares, then no worries, I'm off to listen to my Queen MP3 collection again :)
