  1. I lol'd. but feel obligated to bump this to the next page.
  2. because they're large and black and unattractive.
  3. end of sentence. It's kinda self explanatory.
  4. Lol. Should let you know that I'm not actually German (though I have German family), but American. I just changed it in the same world cup spirit that Briggins changed his to Brazil. haha yeah. What does it matter if you get to the semis by beating extremely mediocre teams, and other teams get there by beating the best teams in the world?
  5. your defense was laughable, and I wasn't responding to you :D
  6. I'm not objecting to the system at all. I'm objecting to the arrogance with which certain Uruguayans consider themselves to be as good as other semi final teams, or claim that they're among the best four teams in the tournament.
  7. you are unintelligent, and I am done talking to you. watch me...
  8. lol explain that one to me. You had the one group without a top 7 team. You had South Africa, ranked #83. You had France who only qualified because of a handball, lost to China a week before the tournament, and had such hatred between the team and their coach that Anelka was kicked out halfway through. And then you had Mexico, who are on the same level as you. lol, that's because the world cup is usually hosted by a leading soccer nation, South Africa has the worst world ranking of any host nation in world cup history. whether you care about it or not, most people and all the pundits I heard from didn't expect them to get past the group phase because they were obviously an extremely poor team this year. that's because all four teams were marginal compared to other groups. Unpredictability doesn't make it difficult. A top 7 team would've had an easier time in that group, than most other groups. congratulations. Korea: 47th in the world. Though a decent team, the victory wasn't particularly impressive. Ghana: Not the best African team. They qualified with a 1-0 win over Serbia, a loss and a draw with Australia. They only qualified because Germany gave them a goal differential by smashing Australia. After 120+ minutes you stayed level with a team ranked #32 by a handball, and a stroke of luck. At the very least it was an embarrassing victory and showed that you are clearly not on the same level as the Netherlands (who beat #1 Brazil), Germany (who pummeled England and Argentina handily), and Spain (who are #2 in the world and beat #3 Portugal). no you're not, but you're in the semis. Sig.
  9. Yeah, our Pundits were pretty much split.
  10. the general consensus was that it was gonna be a close game. everyone with a brain saw that coming I called that win too. Juanif, you're idiot. You didn't deserve to beat Ghana, you barely beat Korea, you had the easiest group, The easiest corner of the bracket you could've hoped for, and haven't even played a team ranked higher than you (16th; and France doesn't count for obvious reasons). In other words: you have absolutely nothing to brag about, and in a just universe you wouldn't have gotten this far.
  11. best photo they could find?
  12. I'll be stunned if we don't have a Holland-Germany final.

  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continents Number of continents There are numerous ways of distinguishing the continents: Models Color-coded map showing the various continents. Similar shades exhibit areas that may be consolidated or subdivided. 7 continents: North America South America Antarctica Africa Europe Asia Australia 6 continents: North America South America Antarctica Africa Eurasia Australia 6 continents :America Antarctica Africa Europe Asia Australia 5 continents: America Antarctica Africa Eurasia Australia 4 continents: America Antarctica Afro-Eurasia Australia The seven-continent model is usually taught in China and most English-speaking countries. The six-continent combined-Eurasia model is preferred by the geographic community, Russia, the former states of the USSR, and Japan. The six-continent combined-America model is taught in Latin America, and most parts of Europe including Germany[citation needed], Greece[citation needed], Italy[citation needed], Portugal and Spain. This model may be taught to include only the five inhabited continents (excluding Antarctica)[20][21] — as depicted in the Olympic logo.[22] The names Oceania or Australasia are sometimes used in place of Australia. For example, the Atlas of Canada names Oceania,[14] as does the model taught in Latin America and Iberia.[23][24]
  15. There are 6 continents. 7 if you include Antarctica. The olympics went with 5 because it's convenient and looks prettier.
  16. Seems that Brian Eno and Steve Roach got it right when they tried to make music that sounds like space. For all we know, there's an alien on Jupiter with a giant boombox blasting 'Dynamic Stillness' and Apollo: Atmospheres.
  17. I'm listening all the way through to see if Chris Martin doesn't pipe in near the end.
  18. lol, all they do is have two computers play each other in the video game which doesn't even have the rosters correct.
