I actually haven't closely followed hockey for a few years, much of my hatred is due them being the hockey equivalent of the yankees earlier this decade, and essentially buying an all-star team. However, I hear they have a very different, much younger roster these days (probably contributing to the fact they're shit this season).

your videos are definitely improving, but I freakin hate detroit. The guy I watched the olympic hockey with was a devoted red wings fan and I was hinging on the Avs winning tonight. I caught a bit of it from a restaurant I was eating at with a class tonight...random thought...anyway, I actually enjoyed watching your latest.

I suppose start working towards a PH.D in something related to major, then go teach at some high-school or small college, devote time to conferences and writing on esoteric topics despite my inability to get published as a distraction from my dwindling love life until I make tenure and spent the rest of my days teaching, playing online chess from my too-large house and attending the local curling club on sunday nights. (that was largely a satire on my brother and his philosophy professor friend, both of whom I seem predestined to imitate in life. :P)

yeah, I was really surprised when I read that on greenplastic, there are times though, in the song when a note rings out and vibrates that you can recognise that a guitar is being played.

that's tougher, without the horns it becomes somewhat of a different song. Live also adds an improvised, random element like with the radios. I prefer the saitama performance to the album, but its hit or miss.

the album version is ten times better imo, many songs off of kid a just don't translate well live, and probably my favorite part about the song is the beautifully distorted quality and timbre of Thom's vocals alongside the ambient subtleties, never heard a song quite like it.

I assure you Don Quixote won't be on the album.

They're not the beatles either, and in any case that would totally suck.
