Sigur Rós
Well, a bow isn't really made to be used on guitar strings, so it takes some time to get a consistent, droney sound out of all the friction. Works much better on gibson's obviously.

Sigur Rós
its a cello bow. Its harder than it looks though, me and my R.A. tried working it out with his guitar and his sister's bow. The sound is awesome, but its tricky to control.

What are your biggest pet peeves?
You guys do realize donut, color, favorite, theater, mom etc. are in our dictionary, and it would be improper american english to spell them otherwise. As far as we're concerned, you guys are weird for adding unnecessary letters.

Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games
U.S. Men's curling team. Game 2 vs. Norway: Goes to an extra end with the hammer. Schuster's has an open draw shot to the 4 four foot to win the game. He's 3 inches too long. U.S. loses. Game 3 vs. Switzerland. 10th end. Schuster's needs another simple draw to the 4 foot to win. He comes up short. Extra end. Schuster needs a short raise takeout to win, just misses. U.S. loses. Game 4 vs. Denmark. Extra end with the hammer. Schuster needs to peel-out a danish rock three-feet in front of a u.s. rock. doesn't matter if the shooter or our other rock stays. Schuster hits the danish rock dead center, jams it. U.S. Loses. I've been tearing my hair out all week as you can imagine. Not to mention the women's team also screwed up an easy would've-been-game-winning shot in extra ends against Japan.

Sarah Palin vs. Family Guy
South Park has an intelligence and connectivity that counterbalances most of family guy's major flaws, but like a guy in that episode you just mentioned, I enjoy the quick accessibility of family guy, particularly after a long day. Family Guy isn't overtly intelligent by any means, but many of the bits they've done have a simple distinct brilliance about them.

Sarah Palin vs. Family Guy
Sure, and back, maybe five years ago they had some great jabs at Bush, but nowadays when they say something grotesque and controversial, its like 'there, we said something controversial, maybe you'll read about it tomorrow...in the meantime, pause 20 seconds for this morbidly contrived, unfunny scene to finish, and you can start laughing again.'
-
Sarah Palin vs. Family Guy
Whenever family guy makes political or religious cracks these days they're completely unfunny, regardless of whether or not you agree with it. The comedy just isn't there.

Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games
u.s. curling team has yet to win. Women lost by a fraction of centimeter on the last shot, and Schuster had a draw to win that was six inches too heavy. tough luck.

We took 2nd out of like, 7. We won last year though, and more importantly we beat our rivals, Hughes Hall, who are getting bulldozed at the end of this semester. :nice:
