  1. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73854 You can hear it here! Hope you're right about multiple new songs!
  2. It's certainly different, but as much as I'd love for them to make A Rush of Blood to the Head every album, it would make the original fairly ordinary. The idea is to leave your mind open to redefine what Coldplay means to you, otherwise what fun is all this? It's obviously well written and not utter shit. I gave it 8/10 on the poll thread, you can too.
  3. I'm sorry but, 'reduced to sampling'? Some might say sampling is a form of art. You're entitled to your opinion, but you would do well to make it a considered one.
  4. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73854 You can be there too! (At least in spirit)
  5. Whatever it is, these 11 seconds sound pretty good to me. Almost like the 40 or so of silence we heard at the beginning of Violet Hill for the first time.
  6. Maybe they are going to give us the single in serialized form and force us to splice it together. :P
  7. I still feel like they owe me a cup of coffee on the next tour :) Who needs a free live album when you have caffeine?
  8. Wow, that was impressive. Even by Chris' standards that's exceptional procrastination.
  9. Please just give us a vague three month period in which you can tell us that we might hear a new song? Its the least you could do.
  10. I see the English aren't tired of Lil Wayne yet :inquisitive:
  11. Ugh, more snow (same here), England won the ashes, Roy Keane is going to a new club to get sacked again...but what about some real news?
  12. My money is on their coming here to announce that in February they will be back on to play the first single.
  13. Has he said anything about the boys being on yet? I hope I'm not staying up until 4am for nothing =)
  14. Best bet its to mic it while on stage via PA. Otherwise you could have an internal pickup installed, but thats somewhat risky depending on the skill of who's putting it in. Soundhole pickups are almost always a waste of money.
  15. This makes me so excited for LP5. I think we may be in for Parachutes part 2 :D
  16. If you're outside of the UK and want to listen to the xfm broadcast tomorrow this http://www.londontown.com/LondonPC/Postcodes/ZipCodes/Information/N17/ may prove an invaluable resource for you. Just saying. :)
  17. Thanks, I've been working on the chords, the only ones I've figured out so far is that the verse goes around B major E F#
  18. It sounds like its in the key of B, I've only got Guy's part for the chorus so far but here goes: "I heard you never get wet in Spanish rain..." E|------------------6------6------6-----7------7-----7----6-----6-------- B|--7----7----7------7------7------7-----7-----7-----7-----7------7---- G|----8----8-----8------8-----8------------8------8------------8------8- D|------9----9-------------------------------------------------------------- A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------- E|----------------------------------------------------------------------------
