rf_ucsd - you truely ARE much more higher than everybody in this thread...i'm sorry you feel the need to move on (and then actually stay and write more :confused: ) also...i don't really think my comments were 'blazen with hasty generalizations' , but if You think so, then tell me why and which parts in particular. i believe you DO have to 'generalize' people...otherwise you'd end up trusting everybody i don't really want this thread to become all about this, or drift from the thread title...although, i suppose i can't control it at all...

i know i might seem to be copying bits of Thom Yorke from a recent MTV2 interview...but i agree with it. All good Music is joyful i think, and can be uplifting, i think it depends on the mood your in before you listen to it too. coz if your depressed already, to me, uplifting music just isn't uplifting at all.

haha...i know 5 gay people...and they're all a bit wierd and untrustworthy i find. i don't wanna turn this into a gay rant...as i have perfectly acceptable (but others wouldn't agree) views on it...and i'm Very open minded. but being openly gay, doesn't really have anything to do with why i don't want them around in 2004, and isn't really a good argument for why any band SHOULD be famous... Also...I think Tom Peed made a good point about slating ALL american music.

the people who complain about other people looking at the pictures and reading the online articles, are the people who do it themselves anyway. they just pretend they don't :rolleyes:

for me, it has to be Radiohead - H.T.T.T. but there's also been alot of good albums out this year, for Example: Mew - Frengers ;)

Be As Optimistic as you like...but, give the odd opinioin here and there :) I know my opinion doesn't really mean anything, i'm just curious to know what other people want :) - i'll name a few: -Electric Six - (they're a comic band i think..) -The White Stripes - (i think they are Comic musicians, and bad song writiers:o ) -Linken Park - (every song basis is the same, not that i think oringinality is essential at all, i just think these guys make bad music) -Tenacious D (And Jack Black) - No real reason, i can see reasons why others would like them...im just not a fan at all. And Jack Blacks new song (something about 'rock') is awful. -the Darkness - to be honest, i'm undecided about wanting these around. Their music is not TOO bad.it's just the new 'Rock' thing i really hate, many people with that two fingers in the air style rocking, which is more related to Tenacious D and Linken Park i know, but, when the crowd do it, it's like annoying British people, trying to copy the annoying American people. anyway...there you have it...there's alot more people i really want rid of...like 50 Cent, and all those rappers who rap out of tune and it's really hard to listen too...i have no idea at all which people are buying that. there you have it.. :rolleyes: :P

the person who took the time to actually think about that, is the person who is online/msn whenever possible, and gets really frustrated that people actually have lives away from msn...while he/she is waiting for ANYONE online to talk too coz their life is pretty boring :rolleyes: :blush: whoops...what have i said

exactly. it's highly unlikely he's going anything bad is going to happen to him.. + stop taking it to heart any little thing that happens to him....he's not a member of your own family. the amount of post SOME people have, seems like they spend all their time on the internet talking about Chris and Coldplay, and probably ARE more concerned about what happens to Chris 24 hours a day...rather than spending time with their family.. just my opinion... for everyone to role their eyes or get 'up tight' about. 'up tight'..haha..never said that before

this was in HMV last time i was in....i nearly bought it, but, didn't have the money....your always risking your money when things are unofficial like this..but, i'll probably buy it...see what it's like...
