  4. Montreux Jazz Festival. Awesome.
  6. Yes, their first two records were quite superior to the last two. Their self-titled it's okay, but it's more of the same and there are just 2 or 3 solid tracks.
  7. I think her last video was soo Gaga-wannabe. Shame on the lack of creativity. Seriously that song and video is the best thing Coldplay's ever done. Excuse-moi, parle-tu francais? Parce-que je ne te comprends pas quand tu parles en anglais.... Sprichst du Deutsch? Ich verstehe dich nicht wenn du sprichst Englisch; tur mir leid, mein Deutsch is sehr schlecht.
  8. True Fact: He's got a hot wife. He's so gay and he doesn't even like boys. Katy Perry Reference FTW.
  9. Wow I wish the town where I was born was half as beautiful as yours.
  10. I won't complain about their outfits unless I see them performing in swimtrunks because I don't give a shit and because it's so girly. I won't discuss artwork either because it actually doesn't matter, I am not comparing Rubends and Rembrandt, I just care about the music. I find illogical how musicians give too much effort to the artwork in their covers when it's something so petty. I haven't heard the music yet, so I can't make a judgement but I can compare the fucking horrible lyrics; even simple stuff like the The Scientist worked, but this? I turn my records on? Every Teardrop is a Waterfall? What's this? The soundtrack for Disney's Mighty Magic Princess? A song for 15-years-old thoughtless fangirls? Some of their lyrics are bad, but these ones have just crossed the line.
  11. OH MY GOD :laugh3:
  12. Commie Alert!! Gtet Out!! My results: Your political compass Economic Left/Right: 0.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.23
  13. Damn it They are coming to Mexico... and I don't have time nor money :bigcry: Maan it sucks that bassist Carlos left, he's one of my favourite bass players ever and I think it was the secret of their sound. So how would you rank their albums? TOTBL Antics Interpol OLTA
  14. It's official: Coldplay is for gays now.
  15. Now in all seriousness I get what you mean, but I guess there hasn't been anything revolutionary since atonality. Music is just based around tonality, harmony, ryhtm and melody. Every musician targets these characteristics but approaches to them differently. That's why I don't find anything revolutionary, nor pink floyd, the beatles, joy division or whatever. They changed the way to approach to these musical values, but not music itself. Take any song and you'll get what I mean, the structure reamins the same, just the instruments, the tempo (rare times) and the combination of sounds change, but it's basically the same. Of course some stuff like the dubstep scene and all avante-garde rock (art rock, math rock, post rock) can't be reduced to 3 4 chords but still their structure can be reduced to basics. Anyway these are songs that go off the beaten path: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztvr09J7KK4&NR=1]YouTube - ‪Animal Collective - 'Fireworks' (2007)‬‏[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IddDWBpkzYg]YouTube - ‪Eskmo - Cloudlight (Official Video) HD‬‏[/ame] well this one is very rockish but has an innovative sound [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoH5MPIgM7c]YouTube - ‪Good morning, captain - Slint‬‏[/ame] The Knife is even more unique than Animal Collective [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAptF-EN5PI]YouTube - ‪The Knife - Na Na Na‬‏[/ame] And why not some old stuff like Genesis or Roxy Music? Innovative instrumentation and progressions, yet still chord based. Music needs a great change and it's not about the sound, atonality and [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wF50so3nWJk]Sonido Trece[/ame] have already been explored but what needs to be changed is structure, if they want something trully revolutionary they need to creat new musical values, not innovate the ones that exist. Of course we can stick to what we have and get beautiful stuff and just for the record, I know you did not ask for classical, but this piece is different to everything you've heard before [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOTQ9TVkG98]YouTube - ‪Penderecki: "The Dream of Jacob"‬‏[/ame] Nevertheless, it still bears resemblance to Stravinski, Schoenberg, Wagner and being strict Bach (BWV 565?)
  16. I'd stand out Xavi. He does the dirty work and is responsible of Barca's spectacular game style. The way he orders the midfield in addition to his accurate passes are pretty much the pillars of the team. Iniesta is more of an explosive player, with some bursts to complete the plays. Messi as I said is just the dude that after getting clear the midfield dribbles through 2 or 3 defenders and scores or assists. Of course his dribling and skills are insane, up there with Zidane and Ronaldo from the last 20 years.
  17. How can you dream of people you don't know? I've never actually dreamt with any coldplayer, not even dreamt of posting here  Eventhough I have seen pics of people it's different from knowing them personally, it just doesn't work for me
  18. I assure you, you'll never ever listen to anything like this again; never ever. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ktc-8zagd0&feature=fvwrel]YouTube - ‪Delfín Hasta El Fin, La Tigresa Del Oriente y Wendy Sulca - En Tus Tierras Bailaré (Video Oficial)‬‏[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bAN7Ts0xBo&feature=related]YouTube - ‪Tunak Tunak Tun (Best Copy)‬‏[/ame]
  19. But it's been implied. That line is senseless and this lack of logic most pop acts have is often criticized. My point is that Martin's lyrics have gotten worse. Compare A rush of Blood to the Head to 42. Someone has to tell him ( I reckon there are some killer lines in Viva)
  20. You'll eventually find someone. I being such a steppenwolf hopefully believe it.
  21. I think Xavi and Iniesta (especially Xavi) are the key to Barca's game. Messi is just the icing of the cake.
  22. I bet if I had written a sentence like "Maybe the streets alight" I'd had gotten troll'd and mocked for my English skills and would have been told to make sense with my opinions. Chris Martin on the other hand gets labeled as cryptic and genius.
  23. Oooh, so Rudy and Lory = .... This information is really helpful :smartass2: *rubs hands* Body language? So I have to wink all the time at cping girls? I think a Berryman mask would be more useful. Hey Thom your music is awesome I'm your biggest fan" "Uhm I'll go and eat ceviche and drink Pisco" Luby, that sounds lovely. Oh poor rudo.
