i usually dont care for music videos at all but i'm actaully really excited for this one. i'm thinking it will be out before the album for sure... maybe end of may.

well i'm just thinking... eventually they are going to need to add links for the tour and a store and stuff like that and it's hard to believe they just completely scrapped the timeline after everything they added to it. i dont think this site is permanent... it's too simple. but i still love it.

how long do you guys think this site will stay up?

i hate delving into stuff like this because you always end up sounding like a dumbass but... i think maybe the painting is connected to 'viva la vida' because it's from the french revolution and the french revolted because they wanted to be free from the monarchy and wanted to be able to 'live their lives' more freely. idk that's probably not legit but just what i think when i look at it. and this is another idea i was thinking about thats probably completely crazy and untrue but... maybe on the back it says or death and all his friends and theres another painting that connects more to that theme? idk just an idea.

yea i fake sick all the time and tomorrow would be the perfect day. but i play a sport this season....ugh.

^^YES! i thought the same exact thing and it makes me nervous. i have about ten minutes to download, listen, and leave for school. it's available at 7:15 and school starts at 7:30...luckily i live close.

yea without a doubt get up. coldplay is more important than school. hahaha... but if you are in CT... it will be 715am (by CT i'm assuming you mean connecticut?) (^^haha i didn't mean to post the same exact thing...)

haha yea but if i'm too late for school i won't be able to play in my tennis match so i cant! buttt i completely forgot we'll be able to DOWNLOAD it so ill just add it to my ipod and listen to it in school NONSTOP. i haven't listened to coldplay in like over two weeks because i got an idea from something somebody posted on here and i thought it would make getting the single even sweeter if i didnt listen to them at all until it came out. but with all the excitement right now i'm THIS CLOSE to BLASTING shiver through my house!!!!!!

if i didn't have school AND a tennis match tomorrow i'd consider it. but i'm definately listening to it before school, idc if i'm late.

my mom won't let me skip school so assuming it's up RIGHT on time i'll get ONE listen to it and then i have to sit in school all day trying to remember everything about it. IT'S GOING TO BE TORTURE!!!!! but nevertheless words cant describe my excitement!!

no i COMPLETELY agree. i was just saying that to my friend. i think i hated it at first because i saw the painting by itself awhile back and i thought... how could this ever be a coldplay album cover? but the combination of the painting and the crazy splatters and the messy yet perfect VIVA LA VIDA makes it AMAZING.

haha ohhhh! i saw it this morning and i was like...how do i know this. and then in the middle of school i remembered this thread and i though we mightve had chris in our midst or something. but i guess if it was on that link it's not as wild. it's still really crazy though because people post random stuff like that all the time and i usually disreguard it but this time it was legittt...

ahhhhhhh this is all so crazy!!! on a normal day i wake up, shower, go to school and im lucky if i get there on time. today though i woke up and the first thing i thought about was coldplay. so i went on the computer after my shower (which i NEVER do) and theres a new coldplay.com. i couldnt post on here then because i had to get to school... but i couldn't stop thinking about it ALL DAY. i already have ADD but my teachers were even more fed up with me today because i couldnt stop thinking about this! i neeeeeddddd to go to this NYC free show and i now love the artwork! hated it at first but it's grown. this is just an unncesarry rant so no one has to read it but i'm so happy/so FREAKING excited to hear a new song tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hated it when i first saw it this morning before school but i've been thinking about it all day and it slowly grew on me and now i love it!

ok ive been in washington DC since wednesday so i missed out on a ton and i don't feel like reading all of these threads so i just have a few questions... which station will violet hill be played on first? how do i listen to this station online? what time will it be when it is played in boston (US Eastern Time)? any other details worth knowing?
