the US date (june 17th) is actually 62 days away...

ugh fake plastic trees is soooo overrated.

haha i JUSTTT got the email from amazon saying that its available for pre-order. i don't plan on it because i'd rather just go buy it at the store when it comes out.

high and dry this round. don't know why it just hasn't been one of my favorites for awhile...

this is cool but i almost hope it doesn't happen... they've kept all of the songs COMPLETELY secret up to this point and that's pretty remarkable. i mean with in rainbows we knew every song on it before it was even released because they played them live. idk i just think the whole idea of hearing all of the new songs for the very first time on june 17th when it comes out is cool. it just doesn't happen a lot like that with bands nowadays. sometimes i suck at explaining things but maybe you guys get what i mean... however i do hope they release a single just because thats standard for most new albums... and one new song before june 17 wouldnt hurt :P

hahaha fine. i guess i should just be happy they are playing well and keeping it close.

hmm all of the sections are the same as they are on the new website. this is kind of overlooked but both here and on the screenshots we saw of the new site there is a section called postcards... what do you guys think this section is about? any relation to that unreleased track 'postcards from far away'?

ughhh this is so frustrating because the bruins could so easily be leading this series. theyve put up such a good fight so far. I'm not giving up hope yet though!!

i mean... i don't think i said anywhere that i've already judged the album as a piece of crap. i just can see where zsub was coming from. i'm also waiting until june 17th to judge the album and like i said a million times before... i do think this very well could be there best music yet. don't take my words the wrong way ;)

ok well i don't think that there is no chance this could be a really good album but... i do see what zsub is saying. i feel like if the album really WAS amazing the articles would say it... something like THIS IS DEFINATELY COLDPLAYS BEST WORK TO DATE... however that said i think it still COULD be coldplays best album, it just scares me a litttttle that there have been no real POSITIVE reactions from those who have heard it.

ok ive seen many negative reactions to the song 'motion picture soundtrack' thorughout the web... do you all agree? i think it's an amazing song and i really don't understand what people don't like about it... hoping someone can explain...

yes but that still doesnt mean it's definately JUST viva la vida. ive said this before but i really think 'or death and all his friends' has been dropped from the title. i think it will most likley be a subtitle so the album will still mainly be referred to as Viva La Vida. prospekt didnt include it in the last post because there wasnt a whole lot of room on that piece of paper so he just stuck to the main title.

my finals start June 17th! i have one final in the morning and then i'm supposed to stay for the academic awards but im booking it to get my first listens in to VlV :)
