I hear ya! I love X&Y too. Lots of x&y haters here. You should read the post in the Releases section or Multimedia section. I cant remember exactly where it is in here. Its called " Are we too hard on x&y " But dont worry too much about it. In the end its your music and your tastes. If you like it, who really cares what other think. Besides the tour and the album sold millions so there are many out there that feel the same as we do.

Really? Let me listen to it again... Well right off the bat, the the intro sounds exactly like a cut off of Out Of Time... As far as the lyrics go, Im not sure they are about REM. The music is somewhat like Country Feedback or one of those songs from Out Of Time.

This is a really difficult post for me as I love both of these bands and I dont mind the comparisons. I do believe I hear similarties sometimes. At the same time I hear vast differances as well. Drawing comparison between 2 brilliant acts isnt an issue for me. I do think that Chris in NOTHING Like Bono. While I really love U2's music I cant say the same for Bono's personality at times. I LOVE Coldplays music and have always found Chris to be someone Id like to know in his interviews. He seems more down to earth. Only a couple of times have I read things that make me think his ego is getting up there w/ Bono's.

Hmmm I dunno the title of the article says the review and most of Coldplays songs are overblown. Maybe we go a little crazy for them as fans. I wouldnt say they are overblown in general. I just didnt like the tone of the article

You know, to me it seems the words in the review warrent 4 stars and not the 3 it was given. As I read it, it didnt seem to be a very bad review. Why the 3 stars??? I do find the errors they made to be in poor taste and It does discredit the magazine
