It's just the low polygon render of the actual animated video later on. Like a preview-video before the fully rendered and detailed version.

At least that one was a well produced, purposely trashy-looking music video. And it had very nice cinematic shots! But yeah, it wasn't very great either...

Because I refuse to like an awesome motion capture technology being this totally ridiculed by having freaking monkeys dancing to music. They could have chosen such awesome 3d creatures, but no, they decided monkeys was the best choice. I thought Paradise's music video was daft, but they managed to reach another level of stupid with this one.
