  1. Love Dave, & also have a thing for Chris. :P Wembley sounds like if it was fantastic. I wish I'd gotten a chance to see them on tour... Oh, well. Whenever the next album comes out. My 10 Favorite Foo Fighters Songs (10 least favorite, 1, my actual favorite) 10. "My Poor Brain" 9. "Breakout" 8. "See You" 7. "Big Me" 6. "All My Life" 5. "Low" 4. "Summer's End" 3. "Everlong" 2. "Best of You" /"DOA" (tied) 1. "Home"
  2. Anyone going to see Oasis at the Patriot Center this Saturday? I'm so excited to go! :D
  3. Loved 'In Rainbows,' especially 15 Step and All I Need. While I want Coldplay to get the most Grammies, I wouldn't be mad if Radiohead won something. It's Radiohead for God's sake.
  4. If Joe Satriani was so mad about Coldplay copying Viva la Vida, why didn't he say anything when the album came out in June? I find it very coincidental that he puts out this lawsuit right when the Grammy nods came out. I heard the video on YouTube, but the key of Satriani's is in D flat, whereas Coldplay's is in A flat. They're not the same!
  5. I'm dying to get my hands on this magazine! It was so much funnier than their Entertainment Weekly's article in which they were named 15th best entertainer of the year. They lost to the Jonas Bros. All is NOT right with the world...
  6. LIT II: I think it was just perfect! I loved it to death and I wonder if they will be playing this version at some of their shows, especially in England. Postcards From Far Away: Beautiful, live and on EP Glass of Water: Enjoyed it very much, liked the lyrics tons. :D Rainy Day: A bit eclectic, but in a good way. Prospekt's March / Poppy Fields: Nice lyrics, nice song Lost+ : Not my favorite. I didn't like the Jay-Z additions, but I don't hate it, as there is a Coldplay song I DON'T hate. Lovers in Japan (Osaka Sun Mix): Not really a big difference from the album version, but I did catch those "Ohs" in the song. Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground: Not a bad song; I thought there were too many references to this particular lyric (this song, LIT II, & Strawberry Swing) but I liked it anyways. The beginning guitar for some reason, took me back to X&Y. It almost sounded like 'Til Kingdom Come, but maybe I'm just hearing things... I need to actually listen to this EP over and over again when it officially comes out in the States to become hopelessly obsessed with it. :P
  7. I'm looking at the lyrics from the VLV sleeve... I think we're both right because both titles are there. Maybe? Not too sure.
  8. "Poppy Fields" is the one where he says "I don't want to lie on my own in a separate sky," right? I'm sure it's the one I heard!
  9. Shoot. Wrong message board! I meant to put this on the "Exclusive Preview of Prospekt's March!" Sorry! >_<
  10. Okay, my mom and I totally found the roadies and went from section 420 to row L, right by the side stage! We had a perfect view (no neck craning!) and got to see them right by the side stage! I got this awesome pic of Chris grabbing his behind while sitting down at the piano, and my mom and I swear that Guy posed for us when we called out his name. I hope. :D The set list could've changed a bit; could've been made more special as it was Halloween, but whatever. It was still magical. 'Fix You' got me so emotional; I cried so hardcore, but 'Yellow,' I think, sounded better as an encore! It was so powerful! 'Postcards' was beautiful as well. I enjoyed that one, and Chris dedicated 'The Hardest Part' to Sarah Palin. LOL, my mom's listening to 'Fix You' right now. Amazing and perfect as usual, I bought the 42 shirt (the guy at the booth was like, 'huh?' when I asked for it that way rather than Style 7. And I met Roadie 42, who was setting up a camera right by the side stage and I told him I enjoyed his blog. He seemed a bit distracted, but was a nice guy. I fixed up my jacket a bit (painted a 42 and a VIVA logo) and the hat (a violet and strawberry) and more people noticed it. And now, it's off to the Who, Oasis and if my luck is good, Coldplay in late '09! :D I'll be sure to post some pics later! -Strawberry Swing
  11. Oh, I'm so excited to go again, even though I won't get those AMAZING seats like last time. It would be great to wear a costume, because DC is usually very festive during Halloween, but I have to wear my Viva shirt. I am wearing my jacket I made, so I could go as a ghost of a dead 18th century French revolutionary! :P
  12. Ah! It was amazing! I loved it! It just proves how amazing they sound live! Guy, of course, looked so handsome... :D
  13. Happiest of happy birthdays to you, Mr. Jonny Buckland! With love from all of Coldplaying.com!
  14. ^^ They only allow small digital cameras. If you have a professional one with the detachable lenses, you can't take pics. So, yes, a Cybershot is acceptable. :D But, how big is it? Is it a professional sized one?
  15. http://www.livenation.com/event/getEvent/eventId/335104/ I was trying to see if I could maybe get early tickets (didn't work) but this is better. My dad isn't a big fan of Coldplay (I KNOW, right? I'm molding him though... he said "42" wasn't that bad and I caught him singing "Violet Hill" once.) but he likes Duffy (weird) and if I can get him to get tickets for Coldplay because of that, then my job is done. :D
  16. I think I'm like, that close to getting another set of Coldplay tickets. I found out from live nation that Duffy is going to be the opening act and my dad likes Duffy but isn't a huge fan of Coldplay. (Don't worry-I'm working on him. He's starting to soften up to VLV.) My mother sounded excited, (she went with me) so, I think it's going to be the whole family going (my sister as well). Woot! This sure beats giving out candy! I have a reprieve! I love you Chris! Thank you for giving DC a second shot! We'll be a much louder audience!!
  17. Oh, god! I totally want to go AGAIN to DC! Granted, I probably won't get those amazing tickets like last time, but I promised one of my friends that if they came into our area again, we'd go together. (And Muse as well, but that won't be until later.) Now, how to persuade my dad to get me a ticket... Well, he likes Duffy (yeah, a bit weird) and I heard she's going to be the support act. Maybe if I tell him that he'll buy the tickets? Let's hope...
  18. You're so lucky that you've actually met them! I would do anything to meet Guy & Jonny! And for your question about Jon coming down Guy's ramp... I don't think he did. In fact, they all went to the ramps (both of them) as a group, but that was it.
  19. Oh wow! How great! Jonny's just amazing and he was amazing last night too. Violet Hill sounded so perfect and, believe me, I got tons of pictures of him too. :)
