I agree with the original post. I didn't have time to read the others. Coldplay works best as a less is more band. Their first two albums musicially are unbelievable and are unmatched. I as well hate the direction they have taken overall. There are of course some highlights here and there (Moving to Mars, Reign of Love, Life in Technicolor, Prospekts March), but their overall sound seems like they're trying to be an anthem band.

parents are going to be annoying at one point or another being that you can't agree in their believes and naturally want to rebel. to be honest I think that a lot of what parents do (I'm not going to say all because I'm sure there are fucked up parents), is really just for their own good or to better their children. Also not to sound patronizing, but I think in these early teenage years it's really easy to want to hate or dislike your parents. But eventually I think you'll come to realize that your parents are only human and you'll accept their faults.

if you reversed the bands I'd agree, except I like CP more than you do RH. Also I've never seen this kind of thread before :| What's the point of even comparing the two bands over and over again guys? ...we all know RH is so much better :P :lol:

I can't just pick one by some of my top favorites would be: Alien, Mr. Holland's Opus, Jaws, As Good as it Gets, The Terminal, Vanilla Sky, The Dark Knight, Aliens

I feel sorry for her parents though I do feel they are to blame for her actions. We are so influenced by our parents and how they raise us that in some sense her parents clearly didn't raise her right to have her commit this kind of crime. But I also feel that if I was her parents I wouldn't want her around. Especially the father. I mean we don't know what happened specifically, but the fact that throughout all of this that the defense goes and attacks the father is pretty terrible. Of course I don't know what fully happened, what the chemistry and history is between the father and Casey... but from my perspective it's fucked up and I don't think I could stand to be with my child that throws me under the bus if I was in that scenario.

good point. It is true. There are so many other trials within the country that are just as or even more serious that don't get the same coverage. Even so... I think I sort of understand why the jury picked what they did. I mean there was no hard evidence to show who or how the child was killed. So without that hard evidence I can see why she wasn't charged. At the same time from the way she acted to the police and her family and from all of the lies it seems most logically that she murdered her child. In the end though I think karma will catch up to her somehow. Either way her life is going to be different because I'm sure when she is let free she will need to be under close supervision from police or security considering how upset people were over this.
