This is gonna be my first time at a Coldplay gig, do I have any reason to be worried I have work when the tickets go on sale to Coldplay fans? Will I still be able to get standing tickets easily? Going to Manchester one btw, £65 for standing tickets right?

I haven't heard it but from all the songs I have heard so far and what people have been saying about the album, I really do think it will be Coldplay's best :D

This is so great, not like Fix You which is probably a good thing (my favourite song, don't want to hear something similar because it won't be original), its so moving can't wait to hear the studio version :D

Paradise won't chart Paradise is ineligible to chart in the UK at least (maybe everywhere else depending on the rules) for the same reason as Viva La Vida the single which is been able to download once you pre-order the album. Will only chart once Mylo Xyloto is released and then most of the potential sales would have happened then so probably won't chart. That's the reason why it wasn't showing up on the midweek charts so far, just checked on a popular chart forum to make sure it was the case. Not that is matters too much, will be interesting to see whether it hits #1 on the airplay chart like ETIAW did :D

Its an error, I look at these charts all the time and the midweek updates and Coldplay should be top 30 at the very least most likely top 20 atm so its an error for sure. Maybe there is a small chance they will be ineligible? Doesn't pre ordering Mylo Xyloto give you Paradise or do you still have to buy that for 79p? I remember when VLV wasn't eligible at first for the charts.

Correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't ETIAW the highest 3rd charting Coldplay track on the US chart? at #14 in addition, it was on air / on sale so did very well to get that peak.

Aye ^ Awful comparison unless it meant the other way around, 13,000 people + generally share the same opinion as the Oracle, while some of the other 450 are basicially like sheep, 'instead of not listening to Paradise since I dislike it, lets be Rebel's and mock Coldplay and seek attention haha'

Or maybe her opinion is like many : Everything Coldplay does is amazing. It doesn't take a genius to just look at the official youtube vid to see there are only 450 dislikes to 13,000 likes (ETIAW had around 1,500 dislikes to those likes, over 3x more), those who really dislike Paradise are in a small minority, many of those happen to be using this forum and can't take change and accept the fact Coldplay like to change their sound and experiment.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that 'For You' wasn't included on Parachutes while 'Yellow' was included, Chris has to leave, Will has to leave, Jonny has to leave, Guy has to leave, lets just have a band full of Phil Harvey's and Anchormen.

Great news! Although im getting really annoyed about it stalling at #11 on UK itunes, hopefully it rises further than that over time but the UK has such awful music taste, even in America where a lot of this generic club music has come from and where most of the music ends up in the UK, Coldplay are top 5 on Itunes aswell as Foster the People there still I think (which got to #18 in the UK charts and now is hanging about in the 50's or 60's) The album will smash in the UK though, record first week sales i'll still predict because most of the promotion is yet to come! Edit #5 in UK album charts but its behind 4 new albums which are selling pretty well (Ed Sheeran x2, Laura Marling and The Kooks)

Really? I think its a very radio friendly song, appeals to a wide range of audiences. Can't stop replaying it, love Paradise so much :D

That's why I made this thread because all the positive posts were going in the 'Am I the only one who likes Paradise' thread thought id liften up the mood a bit haha :) Youtube vid has about 1000 likes already and only 19 dislikes, had about 1000 100 ratio for ETIAW so theres the reaction already in itself.

Not too bothered, ive only heard 2 songs so far, ETIAW and MM the others are all live versions, it will different when hearing the studio versions for the first time like brand new songs imo so I will listen others like Up in Flames when they play it live :)
