X&Y is the best Coldplay album imo, longer length and more instrumentals + solo's on track's = win :)

I will be watching it all, what makes the difference to me and what im looking forward to is hearing the studio versions, how the album flows the only thing that can spoil it would be a leak before release but I will ignore that.

Cannot wait so excited, just thinking the best album ever could be on that USB stick!!!!! :D

I wanna go, I hope there will be quite a few other people at least who don't really know anyone well on here as im more a lurker/stalker than a poster (although had 5k+ posts on the official forum pre 2006) so yeah don't really know anyone but really interested in going.

One Direction will get to number 1, its no doubt, im an expert on the UK charts and they will get around 100-150k first week sales, it doesn't indicate much, no one really talk's about or cares about number 1 anymore like in 2005 for example with the Crazy Frog v Speed of Sound thing. They are products of a reality TV show and they will be forgotten about eventually. If Coldplay cared about the chart peak for Paradise, there would of been no on air/on sale release. Instead they will peak a places lower than usually but have better all round sales, how radio recieves it will show more. ETIAW peaked at number 1 for one week, it has been a commercial success in the same way Talk and Violet Hill were another two top 10 singles. Paradise is released on Monday morning, which gives it less time for sales rather than at Saturday/Sunday midnight but will be really hoping for a top 5 placing, but we should expect top 10 at least which is great as Coldplay's top 10 hit list is growing and growing :D

Coldplay won't win, they will be way too big to be considered.

Reason for this would be uk chart runs from sunday to saturday. Will hope it gets top 5 either way that one direction group basically 4 or 5 justin biebers will be number 1 from all the fangirls buying but wouldnt shift albums coldplay on the other hand :-P

By accident, slowed down Hurts like Heaven live at glastonbury at 0.67 and it sounds like Elbow!! Is anyone else so excited to hear the last part of Hurts like Heaven on the studio version, the instrumental is going to sound even more epic! :D

Id say Charlie Brown just about, the magical sound of it and the piano part at the end of the soon to be studio version just does it for me, instant classic. Maybe PoC will over-take when we hear the studio version because that seems like one of the best new songs so far, the synth rave part and the sound before the end part is very amazing!

In terms of audio quality, Itunes festival was the best even more so Us Against the World which would always sound better the more intimate the setting is. Hurts like Heaven - Itunes (for the mostly uninterrupted instrumental) and main square france comes to mind. Major Minus - T in the park Us Against the World - Itunes / T in the Park Charlie Brown - Glastonbury / I tunes. Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall - Lollapalooza

So whoever is going basically gets to listen to the album live or at least a few new songs, nice :D

Lol ^ The funny thing is he is not the only one probably a lot of people at the festivals thought it was a new song too! Life is for Living 2011 please, maybe a charity thing like A Message 2010 :D

That was stunning, amazing.... Whatever you wanna call it! I think all along the piano bit wasn't the intro to Life is for Living life but the outro to Charlie Brown, it was one of my highlights of the live shows so far that beautiful piano part so for it to be at the end of Charlie Brown....wow :D I've never been so hyped up for an album before and still about 2 months left!

Nah, that is the sky sports one posted a few days ago, what hasn't been posted yet is the Sky1 advert.

Comon guys, there must be someone who can Sky+ it and post it up its been a few days since but nothing yet, would really appreciate it!

Someone who has access to Sky1 please watch it and have record ready during the adverts? :P Did it have any noticeable vocal effects?

I don't mind because I look forward to hearing the studio versions of the new songs, it will be almost like hearing a new song. I actually try to imagine what the studio version would sound like by listening to the live version lol! Can't really blame the promotion strategy, it makes more business sense to them to cater towards the needs of the casual fans and non fans to make an effort to expand the fanbase. It looks like it has payed off so far and if Paradise is a bigger success than ETIAW which should be considering ETIAW has built more hype up then it will be a huge success of an album.
