i dont have the time to browse through hundreds of P4K reviews to find all the australian ones. but you can add to that architecture in helsinki, sia, midnight juggernauts and temper trap (just in 2010). that is already much much more than any other publication out there. love em or hate em P4K is the most comprehensive music website out there. music nerd love criticising them but i bet you if they look at one end of year list it will be P4K's.

im curious to see where the individual presenters put Innerspeaker in their own top 10 lists. something tells me richard kingsmill wasnt exactly blown away by the album.

P4K reviews more aussie albums than any other non-australian music mag or website. without their support cut copy and tame impala wouldve gone no where in the states. they've given the middle east and eddy current the exposure to make in roads over there and theyve given dappled cities great reviews. thats only a small sample of the acts from aus that have received attention from pitchfork, who lets not forget are an american website.

in an interview with Dom (which i posted in the muse thread the other day) he said that in america they tend to have more blackholes/resistance heavy sets cos thats all their american fans know. but they feel confident playing older songs in australia cos they know their aussie fans are familiar with those songs. can i impose a setlist ban on this thread for the remainder of the month?

^^ haha nice im going on the first u2 night in sydney and im hoping to work at the stadium on the second. i was a little late to apply but i might get lucky. in all honesty im not THAT excited about muse. mainly because ive gone from being able to tolerate their latest album when i first saw them in january now i cant stand any of it. apparently they only play for 90mins which is quite disappointing for a band with 5 albums. i hope to be surprised.

they only ever put up 2 or 3 songs.....but thanks for the heads up theyve put up the whole show this time.

Graduation has some absolute gems on it. Can't Tell me nothing and Flashing Lights are very much in the same vein as MBDTF and the chris martin collab is perfect. but it's the only kanye album where i skip a few tracks. Late Registration is still his best effort to date.
