  1. I hope he's joking. God, I hope (hope hope!) he's joking.
  2. I'm going on Tuesday, I can't wait! :D
  3. All their songs sound the same
  4. I got Modern Guilt, and it's a sweet album. Might be his best album since Sea Change.
  5. I love Paul's solo albums, but he's very inconsistent. When he's on fire, though, he's really putting out something fantastic. Another great Paul site - http://www.macca-central.com
  6. Peter Gabriel I just had to start this thread. I've been listening a lot to Peter's music lately, and it's amazing how brilliant this man is. He's quite possibly my favorite solo artist of all time. He's never really put out a bad song.
  7. Daniel Powter - Daniel Powter Ray Wilson - Change Ray Wilson - The Next Best Thing
  8. Honestly, if it's anything like their last album, I won't be holding my breath.
  9. Not really a big fan, all of their songs sound the same.
  10. I strongly disagree, but you're entitled to your opinion. Welcome to the forum!
  11. Meathead accurately describes this reviewer. What a pile of Sh*te.
  12. Never heard of them Bloc Party
  13. The Scientist was the first Coldplay song I heard, and I instantly rushed out and bought both their albums.
  14. Love practically everything they've done. "Wish You Were Here," "Animals" and "Dark Side Of The Moon" especially.
  15. If this is true, I feel really bad for Amy. She needs help, and I hope that she manages to kick the drug habit.
  16. ^^ Echoyn, Magic Pie, The Tangent, Galleon, Riverside, Glass Hammer, The Pineapple Thief are some really great current prog bands. Also, if you like early Genesis, check out The Watch - they write music that's eerily similar to PG-era Genesis (the lead singer even sounds like Peter Gabriel.)
  17. I hope their next album is as good as their older material. Systematic Chaos was ok, but it could have been better.
  18. Great review, it's nice to see something positive for once. I have to disagree with the reviewer, though - Strawberry Swing is my favorite track on the album.
  19. I was wondering this, too. When I downloaded the preorder from Itunes, I thought something sounded off (and the leaked version sounded better than the finished version.) I've grown used to how it sounds, but it could have been mixed better, I agree.
  20. Strawberry Swing and Viva La Vida
  21. "Supper's Ready" by Genesis is one that comes to mind. Honestly one of the greatest songs ever written. Also, "Across The Universe" by The Beatles.
  22. That would be fantastic. They take so long between albums, it'd be great to get album #5 before another 3 years.
  23. Coldplay - Lost!
  24. Coldplay - Viva La Vida Peter Gabriel - Plays Live
