  1. This is great news. I can't wait to see what's released.
  2. Maybe it's the newness of it, but I honestly can say that Viva La Vida is tied with A Rush Of Blood To The Head as my favorite Coldplay album. I love X&Y, but it didn't strike me anywhere near that Viva La Vida (or A Rush) has on the first listen. Viva La Vida also is their most artistic album to date, and is a huge step forward for the band. I don't like comparisons, though. All four albums have something to offer the listener, why compare them? They're all good albums.
  3. I'm going to buy it (a physical cd copy) at Target or Best Buy.
  4. Not unless they're released as b-sides
  5. Yes, the whole album leaked on the 5th of June. Try looking for it on filesharing networks (or just wait till it comes out on the 12th.)
  6. Great review, I agree with most of it. Thanks for posting :)
  7. I'll probably not be able to see them on this tour, but I don't hate them. You don't know how lucky you are.
  8. Amy Winehouse needs to get her s**t together. It's sad that people like this are role models for young teenagers.
  9. Galleon - Mind Over Matter
  10. Either Square One or Life In Technicolor.
  11. Best: 42, Yes, Viva La Vida, Violet Hill, Strawberry Swing, Cemeteries Of London, Lovers In Japan Worst: Lost! (prefer the acoustic version), Reign Of Love, Life In Technicolor
  12. I couldn't disagree with you more, there isn't a bad track on the new album. Yes, the acoustic version of Lost is much better, but the studio version is still pretty damn good, and 42 is an amazing song. Maybe the best song they've ever done. To each his/her own, though, I guess. :|
  13. Chris worries about the most trivial things.
  14. I love both versions, I can't choose between them.
  15. A Rush Of Blood To The Head is still my favorite Coldplay album. I'd rank them in this order: 1. A Rush Of Blood To The Head 2. Viva La Vida 3. X&Y 4. Parachutes
  16. I'm on my fifth proper listen right now. :)
  17. It's not my favorite, but it's certainly in my top five favorite Coldplay tracks from the new album. :)
  18. Too late. I have the album preordered, anyways. I just love to hear an album early, even if I plan on buying it.
  19. I like the vocals on the regular version better, but the music better on the Acoustic version.
  20. Radiohead, no doubt.
  21. Someone's on the wrong message board!
  22. The Moody Blues - Legend Of A Mind (Live)
  23. I just bought King's X's new album, "XV." It simply rocks!
  24. I'd rank the Coldplay albums in this order: 1. A Rush Of Blood To The Head 2. X&Y 3. Parachutes For me, none of the other albums has surpassed AROBTTH. Maybe the new album will, though, the new material has been better than anything Coldplay have done up to this point.
