  1. Nah not number 1 because Olly Murs has already been confirmed as this weeks number 1
  2. Well where do i beginning. They were brilliant, the wristbands were simply stunning. Great setlist. Highlights were probably Viva La Vida, Us Against the World, Don't Panic.....actually it was all brilliant. I was hoping for xmas lights but it never came and I was alittle disappointed it wasn't longer. However that does not take away from a great concert, the atmosphere was incredible. 5 stars.
  3. i am buzzzingggggg can't wait for this, can i be added the list of whose going? I forgot to say i was :P I'm top tier but i don't mind as im standing (first time ever) at the emirates. EXCITED
  4. Also Wembley is probably being preserved for 2012 olympic (i no the emirates is being used aswell but wembley is the centre peice
  5. the thing is though, if you look rolling stone, BBC, MTV, Q establishments which have pedigree have given it good reviews. Not drivvle like NME (SLY DIG) End of the day. It will sell millions, thats a fact Its a brilliant album, PoC will go to number 1 and we will all say 'we told you so'
  6. Anyone else think the second part sounds like New Radicals - You've Got The Music In You. I love the song. Probably my favourite on the album.
  7. Bought it from HMV an Hour and half ago and I've listened! And I LOVE IT!
  8. Ok I've resisted sort of....Zane Lowe played Hurts like Heaven and Charlie Brown...But its ok because I have already heard them in the festivals (even though the album version is different) I've heard PoC aswell. But im holding out because of the new songs we haven't heard....that counts right?
  9. I saw that aswell!! It was a Tesco advert! It was pretty simple. Nothing like the itunes ad for viva la vida
  10. I have two pairs of upper tier tickets at the o2 arena. I'm looking for four standing tickets! So I would be willing to give them to two seperate people. However I will only swap if I can get an exchange for ALL the tickets if that makes sense. PM me if interested. x
  11. Ever so slightly similar but thats probably the deception of your ears as you re aware of the song in its correct format
  12. umm no I haven't because I never actually said it sounds like Prospekts March. I meant in terms of quality. Read my opening post again you **** and don't get sarcastic with me
  13. I agree, this is not 'chart friendly' like ETIAW. Its great though. I prefer the verses to the chorus'
  14. what you mean? I'm not saying they sound the same, in terms of quality...something missing. I love it, i think its missing something to make it a 'perfect' song
  15. Up In flames reminds me of Prospekts March. The reason behind this is not that they sound the same but they are so close to being perfect but there is a little something missing. Its hard to put my finger on but there is something just missing. Having said that I looveee both.
  16. He interviewed The Red Chilli Peppers on Saturday and only interviewed Anthony and Chad (Lead singer an Guitarist) and then the whole band performed. Im guessing he will speak to Chris and then they will all perform
  17. According to wikipedia, Coldplay and in particular Chris Martin will be on The Jonathan Ross Show on October 22nd. Now before everyone gets anal, I know wikipedia is not a reliable source but it must be there for a reason...... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Jonathan_Ross_Show Makes sense with 2 days before the album release.
  18. Eno leave? Its not bloody Manchester United. Sounds like something you would read in a sports article. Coldplay choose to work with him (not even a producer) get over it or forget about Coldplay
  19. Ok firstly I love the Coldplay we have now and I love the Coldplay of the past. Several people have given their opinions of how Coldplay are writing songs which are for the charts and are not thinking about quality. I like Paradise, I thinks it good. Now I believe the reason CP had to go in the direction is because they are living their dream. They want to recreate the moments of Wembley and Headline Glastonbury and other major festivals. This is ANY musicians dream. Coldplay cannot stand still they need to appeal to the masses to make these dreams reality. Its not a money making scheme, Imagine playing 80,000 people in a stadium, it must be incredible. If Coldplay had stopped at X&Y and not produced an Album like Viva la Vida they would be where Keane is now. Highly respected but not at Oasis/Foo Fighter level where they can play an Arena they want. I believe this. I think Coldplay have the right to get to the top to experience the dreams that all musicians have. And this means getting songs which the masses will like. I for one love it all and cannot wait for MX. This probably doesn't make sense, I'm hope it does :) Cheers x p.s. no hate please
  20. biggest load of shit, I have ever seen on this forum. Disrespectful and out of order to a band that has probably given you great songs and memories. I don't care that you don't like Paradise but that is ridiculous and to everyone else saying R.I.P. Shut up and get over. Remember Coldplay owes nobody anything
  21. Coldplay with Jay-z was amazing....end of, the live version at Wembley was spine tingling.
  22. I really like it.....the orchastra at the beginning sounds abit like Pirate of the Carrabean but i love that! Its a grower!!!! In the night, the stormy night she closed her eyessssss
