Maná sucks, their only CD I like is "Donde jugaran los niños" but the problem is that all their following CDs and songs sounds exactly the same... now I remember, many mexican coldplay haters says that coldplay is the "british maná" (which I disagree) ... I suposse they will be happy that coldplay dedicated a song to maná lol And the audience, I haven't never attended a concert neither in Guadalajara nor in Monterrey but everyone says that they are full of posers and boring people, that the best concerts are in Mexico City... but I think things may be changing a little bit because I went to both shows in Mexico City, and for the second one I was in front of the stage, so the audience there was crazy as usual, but for the first one I was a little far for the stage and I have to say that it was full of posers and "fresas"... it seems that all the young high society from Mexico City was there... I really hated them, those stupid rich boys were there only because they had the money for going and because it was "the event of the day" but they were more worried about getting drunk as fast as possible than actually see the band.

Ah ya, que chido entonces :) es que en la foto que salio en el record solo salen jonny y will y pense que solo ellos 2 habian salido... pero la neta si se portaron super buena onda, por lo menos salieron 3 veces y todos en las primeras 2, ojala se esten portando igual de bien en Guadalajara y Monterrey. Igual cuando yo estuve si hubieramos sido mas listos si nos hubieramos podido tomar foto, pero es que con la emocion y los nervios uno como que ni piensa en ese momento jaja. Yo nada mas tome una foto donde sale Chris, aunque me pasaron otras por bluetooth, haber si las subo en los prox. dias.

No pues cuando a mi me toco el sabado como a las 4:30 pm si salieron los 4 :P aunque si tampoco hubo foto con los fans. Por lo que estoy viendo salieron 2 veces mas, el domingo a las 6:00 p.m. salieron Jonny y Will (segun una foto del periodico record) y tambien segun un video de youtube salio hoy Chris antes de que se fueran a Guadalajara. Aun me falta mi reseña del encuentro en el four seasons del sabado, y tambien mis comentarios y fotos del concierto del sabado (solo lo hice del de ayer domingo), pero lo hare luego pero ahorita ya tengo mucho sueño. Por cierto Eduardo, ya no eres el unico de por aqui que sale en fotos en los periodicos con Chris Martin, en el periodico record de ayer en una foto chiquita donde sale Chris dando autografos salgo yo :D Luego la escaneo y la subo aqui

Here are the pics that i promised yesterday... I saw them and I can't still believe I was there (except because of the intense pain in all my body that reminds that I was in fact there lol), as I said before it was the best concert of my life, I felt that I was in the best place in all the foro sol, exactly at the center but not in the first row, where I think sometimes you only see their feet and you get a pain in the neck for looking above of you all the time :P, I was a couple meters behind where I could see all the stage but at the same time I saw them so close that I could never imagined and I could see the expression on their faces so clear. I always complain about my height (1.75 m. or 5'9") which for being a woman from the central/southern part of Mexico is extremely tall, but at this moment I though "Thank god that I'm so tall" because I could see all the concert almost perfectly all the time, only in certain moments my vision was blocked for so many cameras and cellphones. Some of the moments that I remember the most: - In a moment between songs, Guy was standing in front of me, and I couldn't resist and I screamed "GUUYYY I LOOVEEE YOOUUU", but exactly at that moment everyone was very silent... I felt very ashamed :embarrassed:, surely Guy heard me and many of the persons around me turn their heads to look at me... and some guy (a man not a woman) screamed "MEE TOOO" :laugh4: - The End of Politik... although Politik is not my favorite song (I'm not big fan of the begining of it, although live is awesome), I have always considered the second part of the song my favorite Coldplay moment, and I simply cried on it, I couldn't help it - In Viva la Vida, hearing directly Will's drum and bell was so cool ( I mean by hearing directly not by the sound of the concert) - In Yellow, the crowd became extremely crazy (they were trying to touch the big yellow ballons) and the pushing was so intense... at the beginning it was funny but in certain point I felt that I was about to die. Well there were so many more moments that I remember of the concert (and in fact some even before the concert, stupid funny things that can only happen in mexican crowds), but the list would be so big that I would have to write all night. here some of my pictures:

OMG This was the best concert of my life, I was exactly in front of Chris in the 5th row or something, it's like a dream come true, I wished so much for so many years to see my fav band close and finally this night I did it, I couldn't stop screaming and singing, and the crowd was crazy I though I would die in Yellow :P. I think it was the same setlist than yesterday, hopefully I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Yesterday concert's was great although i was a little bit away from the stage... And I was one of the lucky persons that met them outside the four seasons!!! I got all my CD's with their signatures!!! It was great!!! and Guy is the cutest man ever!!! I will give details tomorrow because I'm in the queue for today's concert and just came to my house to rest a little bit (I live 5 blocks away from foro sol)

Sorry I think i'm going to write in spanish because i'm very very sleepy, but the important thing is THEY ARE IN MEXICO, THEY ARE STAYING AT THE FOUR SEASONS HOTEL and I've seen them :) Pues como lo puse por ahi despues del trabajo fui al four seasons, llegue como 7:15 pm y esperaba encontrar a varios coldplayers, pero para mi sorpresa no habia ni un solo fan!!! solo habia muchos reporteros, de hecho cuando los vi en bolita y eso pense que eran del club de fans o algo asi, una chava le empece a hacer la platica como si fuera fan y ya despues vi que era reportera jaja, segun me conto que llegaron como a las 6:30 pm y que se metieron directo, me estuve un rato y ya me iba a ir porque si me sentia rara yo siendo la unica fan entre tanto reportero y paparazzi, y en eso que empieza a haber movimiento y salieron por ahi de las 8 pm a subirse a sus camionetas pero pues entre la confusion al unico que pude distinguir fue a Will y grite AHI ESTA WILL y tambien como que medio vi a Jonny, pero pues era la unica fan ahi obvio no iban a salirme a dar autografos solamente a mi y dejar que todos los fotografos les tomaran fotos jaja, pero despues de eso voltee y ya vi un chavo con su cd de viva la vida y un plumon, asi que al menos ya no fui la unica fan que estuvo en ese momento. Ya despues llego mas gente pero de hecho solo eramos 6 personas, la verdad si se me hizo super rarisimo que fueramos tan poquitos yo me imaginaba que habria mas, pero no, ah bueno y ya por ahi poco antes de las 11 pm regresaron en esta ocasion solo los vimos de espaldas y pude distinguir a Chris y a Jonny y les gritamos, yo grite JOOONNYYY, CHRIIISSS COME BAAACK!! cuando se metian pero por desgracia no nos hicieron caso... ah y segun nos comentaron los reporteros como los siguieron que fueron a cenar a un restaurante de polanco, que no recuerdo el nombre... bueno me retiro a dormir porque muero de sueño y mañana me espera un excelente dia :)

Aaahh!!! I'm still at work, but i want to leave now!! this is gonna be of of the best weekends of my life!!!. BTW does anybody knows if they've already arrived to Mexico City?? Coldplaymexico's twitter said something about they're arriving in Toluca's airport, anyway after I leave my work I will go to the four seasons hotel to see if I can see them... is anybody from here going today too?? I think i will get to the hotel at 7 p.m. or so I hope i can meet someone of you there, or if not on saturday or most probably sunday in the concerts :)

Those crowns are so cool, unfortunately I don't have time to make one for myself :( Now it's official, the 6th i'm gonna get the venue late, very late :(. But the 7th I'll get my revenge and I'll arrive early. I hope I can see any of you in the queue that day, i was also thinking in make a sign which says coldplaying or something jeje. I will wear a t-shirt viva related that i will buy on saturday, jeans and converses... well that's not a good reference because half the people will be wearing similar outfit :rolleyes:... anyway you can recognise me because I'm very tall and I wear glasses, and as I said in a post before, I'm thinking in getting there at 9 or 10 am although for what I'm reading things are gonna be a lot calmer the second day, so maybe It's not necessary to arrive so early

I think we have a problem with the long queues, probably it's something cultural or I don't know because it's something common here even for a bureaucratic procedures and stuff like that... but i think with coldplay things won't be so extreme, for example for u2 and radiohead, people slept outside the venue many days before the concert, and they weren't just a couple of crazy dudes, they were a lot of people!!!, in radiohead I remember you could see a lot of tents lined outside the venue. At least with coldplay i haven't read that someone is going to sleep outside the foro sol.

OMG excellent news, a new DVD is great, but a DVD made in Mexico is even greater :)

Si ese de the killers fue una total y completa salvajada, nunca me habia tocado ver tanto desmayado, y a diferencia de otras veces que generalmente las desmayadas eran las clasicas chavitas chiquitas y flaquitas, aqui fue gente de todos tamaños, edades y sexos... pero creo ahi el problema fue que faltaban como 3 horas y la gente ya se estaba empujando horriblemente. Espero que los fans de coldplay no sean tan mensos, y si van a empezarse a empujar a loco, al menos lo hagan cuando falten 20 minutos para que empiece y no 4 horas.

Jajaja que contradictorios somos, primeros nos quejabamos de que iba a ir puro poser que queriamos que fueran puros fans, y ahora queremos que vaya puro poser para agarrar buen lugar :D... y si la neta la gente se pone bien loca aqui en el DF, ni idea de como sea en otros lados ya que solo he ido a conciertos aqui, pero hasta eso que es cierto de que mientras mas adelante y al centro la cosa se pone peor, yo he ido a algunos que me he quedado un poco atras o de lado y muy tranquila la cosa, hay ambiente chido pero sin tanto sufrimiento. Aqui en el D.F. yo creo que el sabado va a ser la fecha de los fans from hell y el domingo sera la fecha poser jaja... por lo menos el 6 yo creo que si se va a poner super pesado y de seguro habra gente formada desde muy temprano si no es que desde un dia antes... y yo creo que el 7 todo estara mas tranquilo tanto la formada, como los empujones, aunque tambien presiento que el ambiente va a estar medio de flojera :snore:, ademas de que no se va a llenar el foro. Ah por cierto hace exactamente 3 años fue la primera fecha de Coldplay en el auditorio asi que hoy es mi 3er aniversario de haber visto a Coldplay en vivo por primera vez jeje

Yo ayer lo intente pero estuvo bien pesado y al final ni gane nada, hoy de plano ni lo intente, a ver si mañana me dan ganas y lo vuelvo a intentar, pero quien sabe creo que es mas facil ir afuera del four seasons a esperar a que salgan jajaja

I don't know yet at what hour I'm going to get the 6th, but I think it'll be late :confused: . But the 7th I will try to arrive at 9 or 10 am or so.

Ah por cierto para los que son del DF (o pueden escuchar radio en linea) en Alfa Radio estan regalando Meet&Greets, esta bastante cañon tienes que anotar las 91 canciones que pasen de 12:30 pm a 8:00 pm y mandarlas a [email protected], daran 1 premio por dia de lunes a viernes... segun ahorita van en la cancion 33 y ya me harte, ni al baño me puedo parar casi casi jajaja, a ver si no me harto antes de que acabe, aparte de que tendria que irme del trabajo hasta despues de las 8 y no me hace mucha gracia jeje

I'm also pretty sure that they will be at the four seasons... they were there in 2007 and i'm not sure but i think in 2003 too. And if they wouldn't stay there, surely they will be in one of the others hotels in reforma avenue.

Hi Kelly, very good you are coming too, now it seems that here are several persons who will arrive early for this day, I hope that we all could meet and enter the concert together. And yes, in my experience I can tell you that General Admission concerts here in Mexico City could be sometimes a little bit savage, it seems that people are very passionate and want desperately to get to the front row and therefore there is a lot of pushing, but don't worry I have survived :P and I think that if we are several persons it would be a lot easier
