  1. Well Viva la Vida is still my favorite, I'm totally in love with that song! Of the newest leaks Chinese Sleep Chant and Lovers In Japan sounded really great, can't wait to hear CD quality versions of them. I have read that many of you loved Yes! but I don't know why but I don't feel the same way... it's a good song for sure, but I don't feel it like a song I would play over and over again (with most of the others surely I'll do) and probably I'll skip it once in a while.
  2. Yeah I'm surprised I thought that the new single would be either 42 or Viva la Vida (I'm one of the ones who thinks Viva la Vida isn't an official single yet), but from what I have heard of this song so far I think it's really great and it deserves to be a single.

Thanks for the info although I have already heard it... too bad they aren't coming to Mexico City (where I live) so I'm not going to see them again (I miss their concert here last year ).

En serio? en donde lo van a dar asi? como que si se mancharon mucho con el precio
  6. LIJ is such an awesome song, if the acoustic version is this great I can't image how is gonna be the final version
  7. Yeah everyone is busy with Lovers in Japan and the radio transmission, but thanks a lot... damn it! I should have bought that newspaper yesterday, anyway it's cool to see local media talking about Viva la Vida.
  8. Lol... altohugh are there really 3 versions of Talk? I only knew there were 2 :\ And I think the song is DAAHF, I couldn't think of something else.
  9. Surely a crappy pop or hip-hop artist... hope I'm wrong

Finally I can hear something of the VLVODAAHF song I was expecting the most... I'm at work now and I though that this stupid firewall would stop me from listesting but thankfully it didn't... although I don't know what to think yet, it sounds good although just a 30 sec clip without lyrics is not too much. I'll wait to hear the complete song to give an opinion.

  12. 1. Viva la Vida 2. Lovers In Japan 3. Violet Hill 4. Life in Technicolor 5. Lost! 6. Yes Probably Lost! and Yes are that low because you can judge too much with only a couple of seconds in the background of an interview, so this list may change a lot.
  13. I was really looking forward to hear VH live, since the first time I heard it I knew it was gonna be an awesome live song... although VLV is my favorite new track so far, so i'ts fine they'll play it and I'm also curious how are they gonna play it live.
  14. This sounds great, I think it's my second favorite after VLV. Can't wait to hear it with full quality
  15. I think it will leak very close to the release date, in fact I think it will be in the release week, if I have to predict an exact date I'll say 9th or 10th June. (Hope I'm wrong and it turns to be sooner)
  16. It looks absolute awesome!!! I’ll be happy if a longer version of that would be the official VLV video. Too bad that I’m never gonna see that commercial on TV, because in my country there isn't Itunes store.
  17. :laugh3:, It seems that in this part of the world nobody understands how great is to listen a Coldplay song in a party. :P
  18. Lol, I have just mentioned in the “You know your addicted to Coldplay when...” thread that someone should make a thread of Coldplay dreams and you put this old one here… I have had a lot of Coldplay dreams in the last years, and for some reason there are some that I remember even years after I dreamed them (not only Coldplay’s of course), here are some: This is the weirdest, but my fav one, I had this just before X&Y was released , when a commercial of the band playing some acoustic version of “Speed of Sound” was played constantly on my local MTV to win a trip to a secret concert. Well, in my dream I was traveling in the subway half-sleeping as I usually did and in one station 4 guys got into the train just in front where I was to play music with their guitars (I suppose that’s also common in other subways around the world), of course my eyes are closed and I’m not aware who they are, until I hear that same “Speed of Sound” version and Chris’s voice… I open my eyes and guess who are the 4 guys... that was absolutely awesome, I think I started jumping and screaming like crazy and I think I was the only one there who recognize who they were, because the rest of the people were only surprised because they were 4 foreign white guys singing in Mexico City subway but nobody knew they were Coldplay… I’m not sure what happened next but I suppose that after they finished the song they got out of the train and of course I followed them. Another dream I remember a lot is one where I’m in a concert of them, which was really cool because I had this one before actually seeing them live. The venue of the gig was really small although I’m almost at the back (bah, I have bad luck for that even in my dreams). So, the concert begins and instead of playing Politik or Square One (don’t remember the Coldplay era when I had the dream) Chris said… 1, 2, 3, Will… and they started playing I RAN AWAY!!!, my favorite b-side and one of my Coldplay favorite songs ever. I think that song has never been played live (or at least there isn’t a mp3 version of it on internet) but in my dream sounded awesome. And of course I had a nightmare too, this one was a couple of days before I attended to a Coldplay concert for the very first time. In my dream I decided to take a little nap before going to the concert, but I slept more hours than I should and when I woke up it was very late, I was hysterical and decided to take a taxi to see if I can catch at least the end of the concert, and when I arrived I only could see the last seconds of Fix You and then the concert ended. The worst thing is before going to the real concert I actually take a nap! (I was very tired of being the whole day outside the band’s hotel lol), I don’t know how I could be so reckless to have done that after that bad dream, but the good thing is that this time I woke up just in time. I have had others but these dreams are the ones I remember the most.
  19. As someone already said, it depends of their mood, for example when they did the latinamerican tour last year, I saw a lot a pictures of all the band members with their fans in all the countries they went in south America outside their hotels and airports, but when they came to Mexico probably they were already tired or something, because they never got out of their hotel, with the exception of Chris who got out only one minute and he only signed autographs, no photos with anyone and didn’t say anything except “thank you”… (thankfully I was there in that glorious minute). So If they are on a good mood you have chances in the airport or outside their hotel, or try to win a contest on a radio station when they give “meet & greet” tickets.
  20. Funny Thread, here are some: - When you are wearing a Coldplay t-shirt and you are scared of getting out of your house because some of your neighbors could see you and think… “Oh, finally I have discovered who’s the idiot who keeps playing that stupid music all the time” - When tickets for your local show go on sale the same day you have a final exam, and you answer it as fast as you could and you left running to go to the queue for getting tickets, but despite your effort you only get crappy seats and you regret what you did and wish you would have skip that stupid exam although you would have failed your course and probably spent an extra semester at university, but instead you would have gotten better seats. - (Probably only latinamericans would understand this one) When that awful Calle 13 song is being played, when it says “Que importa si te gusta Coldplay” your friends always point at you. - When you have 200 Coldplay songs on your Ipod (weird if you remember that they only have 3 studio albums at this moment) - When you are living in Mexico, and in the middle of a party when you and everyone is already drunk and they are playing music like ranchera, banda, duranguense (regional music genres that everyone seems to love when they are drunk), you scream “STOP PLAYING THAT SHIT, AND PUT ON COLDPLAY!!” - When it sounds a Coldplay cellphone ringtone (that it’s not yours) and the friend, relative, mate who is with you, says or at least throw you a look of… “Come on, answer your damn phone!" - When you are in a concert of another band that in fact you really like and maybe waited for so long, and you are thinking… “Awhh I wish this would be a Coldplay concert”. By the way, I see some mentioned Coldplay dreams, someone should make a thread of that (I have had some really weird and interesting ones lol)
  21. - The Scientist: I loooveee it, their best (at least for me) - Clocks: It's really simple, but it has something that makes me want to watch it over and over again, besides Clocks is the song that made me love Coldplay , and this video helped a lot to make me love that song. - Talk. Very funny and original - GPASUYF. I like that weird history, and I love the scenes with performances of the band. - Shiver. They look soooo young - In my place. Simple video but cool, probably I liked it because it was when they hadn't had so many performing videos yet... - Trouble (us). Interesting... - Don't Panic. Cool animation. - Violet Hill. Like it, but not so sure yet. - Yellow. I put it this low because the video at first sight is so boring, and back in 2001 when that video was played on TV, I always changed the channel (and never put attention to the song), until finally one day I couldn't find the remote and finally paid attention to it… and eventually I loved so much the song that I ended loving the video. - Fix You. Chris walking and then a live performance… nothing awesome for me in that. - Speed Of Sound. I liked it first, but everytime I saw it became more and more boring… - Trouble (uk). The first time I saw it was cool but then I simply didn’t like the idea of see Chris tied. - The Hardest Part. One of the worst videos I have seen in my whole live.
  22. 49- Yellow 39- Trouble 5- Sparks - Sparks + Yellow
  23. 54 Fix You 32 Talk 26 Speed of Sound 13 Swallowed In The Sea +Swallowed In The Sea -Speed of Sound
  24. 24 - The Scientist 23 - A Rush Of Blood To The Head 20 - Clocks 17 - Amsterdam 12 - Politik 11 - In My Place + Politik - In My Place
  25. Yeah seats sucks! I also hate concerts with seats, they are so boring. I remember when Coldplay came here last year, their performance was awesome but the people were like :snore:... and when I have attended concerts with general admission they are so funny, and it's a lot easier (and cheaper) to be near the stage. I'm really hoping that when they finally get here on this tour, it will be in a place without seats.
