  1. Awesome show!!! This is the reason I love this band so much :). And 4 Parachutes songs, they should keep playing them.
  2. Great Show!!! New songs are amazing. When I watched the youtube videos of yesterday's concert my favorite was Hurts Like Heaven. But after seeing this my favorites are Major Minus and Charlie Brown (although I don't like the title of this one)
  3. Less than an hour :) I hope they'll stream the whole thing and that the band keep playing the new songs
  4. Finally I’ve watched all the videos of the new songs and they are GREAT!!! There is no need to worry, the good old Coldplay is still here, LP5 will be an awesome album. My favorite was Hurts Like Heaven, for me it sounds already like a classic. Cartoon Heart and Us Against the Wall sound great too. ETIAW now sounds like nothing compared to all these songs. I’m waiting for the stream to hear them again with good quality :)
  5. After hearing the song like 15 times through the day (I tried to dose as much as I could my listenings, because the day Violet Hill came out I think I heard it like 30 times :P) I think I can now make a review: I like it, although I don’t love it… I don’t know but I think I’m already programmed to never dislike anything that Coldplay or Chris Martin ever do and this may be the case, because this doesn’t sound like the old Coldplay that I felt in love with many years ago. Anyway, the first time I heard it the synth of the beginning I had some sort of déjà vu, I thought that I’ve already heard that tune… and a couple of hours later when I started reading other reviews and stuff I discovered that a song called “Ritmo de la noche” uses the same tune… so, mystery solved. And respecting this I was like “oh no, not again”… but finally I read that It was a sample of another song that was legally credited in the same way as Talk… but Coldplay haters have something new to talk about. The song is very pop and electro, and after the mysterious messages on facebook and the pictures of the new looks, I saw this coming. Probably the song came in a moment of my life that was perfect for it, because now I listen once in a while to electronic music and I have surrender to guilty pop pleasures like Lady Gaga or Black Eyed Peas… but if this song would have come out like 6 or 7 years ago when I was on my stage “I only listen to BritPop and Alternative and everything else is crap” definitely I would have hated ETIAW. So I can perfectly understand why many people don’t like this. But despite the pop, the “plagiarism”, etc, etc I think ETIAW have interesting elements, for example Jonny’s riffs are really really awesome, and the ending of the song is great too, it reminds me a lot of Lovers In Japan which is my fav song of the last album. I’m optimist about the new album and if we look into the past, the first singles have never been the best songs… Think of In my Place, Speed of Sound, Violet Hill, at least for me they were just average songs that didn’t compare with the “big ones” of each album. And I’m pretty sure that the album will have many different styles on it, the acoustic ones, the rocker ones, and surely more electropop songs, but this is not going to be the end of the classic Coldplay sound, just remember some months ago Christmas Lights, at least for me that song sounded 100% Coldplay :) In any case, look at any big bands in history like The Beatles, Radiohead, etc, etc, they have changed their style almost completely in every album and that’s what made them so big… Maybe the problem here is not the experimentation itself but that they took a path that many of us don’t like very much, maybe we wanted something darker or maybe something acoustic or I don’t know. But is too soon to be writing about this as we only had one single song that in fact is not confirmed that it will be the first single of the LP5. Sorry if my English was crap, but I haven’t written something as long as this in a long time :P
  6. I'm so exited, we are only a few hours away from a new Coldplay song and the beginning of the LP5 era... I remember like if it was yesterday the day that Violet Hill came out and I woke up very early without the aid of an alarm clock to listen to the song for the first time... and tomorrow it'll be the same :)
  7. Nice topic, I haven't entered coldplaying in a while because I was making one of my dreams come true, I was backpaking in Europe, my trip lasted 54 days and I visited: France England Belgium Netherlands Germany Czech Republic Austria Switzerland Italy Spain It was really awesome, although as the mexican peso doesn't have any value compared to the euro, I didn't have a lot of money so I basically eated cookies and sandwiches buyed in supermarkets, stayed in hostels and walked stupidly long distances to try to use the expensive public transport as little as possible. I also visited some years ago the United States and I have travelled in my country Mexico but not as much as I would like, definitely I need to travel more in here, and I also would love to go to South America.
  8. Finally in a couple of days, I'm going to do one of my biggest dreams, I'll be backpacking in Europe and of course I will visit London... any news about where is the beehive?? It hasn't been discovered yet, hasn't it? I think I will visit the old bakery anyway... And no, I don't want to stalk them (I had enough of that last March when they visited my city :P ) I just want to be there a couple of minutes, get a picture and that's all, I'll rather visit another touristic places instead of wasting valuable hours outside a building.
  9. OMG!!! 2 lines of Warning Sign, Parachutes, bras thrown at Will, the loudest crowd according to everyone... definitely this was the best of the 4 concerts in Mexico... damn it! and I was about to buy my ticket for this one too... why, why i didn't do it? :(

  12. Thank you so much for that videos, they are awesome!!! I'm waiting for the torrent :)

I dreamed I was in a concert of them, almost in first row in the center just in front of Chris where I can see all the band perfectly... oh no wait a second that wasn't a dream that actually happened 1 week ago... :D lol sorry I couldn't resist it but I have dreamed so many times to be in a concert close to the stage that I can't believe that finally happen
  17. I've read all pages of this thread... awesome story, thanks for sharing it, you're the luckiest coldplay fan in the world :)

  19. Funny how all of you mention the extreme pushing of mexican concerts, and as I have only gone to concerts here in Mexico I almost can't imagine a concert without it, sometimes is funny but in certain moments you just wanna scream "COME ON PEOPLE CALM DOWN!!!" and you feel really angry and upset (and of course so tired and on the edge of fainting), in fact all my friends hate general admission concerts and for this reason lately I have attended several concerts alone because my friends only want to go to the seated section. Now I'm really curious about how are concerts in other countries, In fact I think now that the LP5 comes out and that they'll surely finish once more this tour in Mexico in 3 or 4 years, and I don't wanna wait so much time for it, I think I'll go to a show in the United States once the tour starts, and finally I'll feel how is to be in a GA concert without savage people :P
  20. I think for me the VIVA show was 50x better than X&Y... I attended both VIVA shows in my city last weekend and they were incredibly awesome, specially the one that I was almost in front which I consider my favorite concert so far (and I've attended like 30 concerts in my life most of them of international artists too). Of course it was influenced because Coldplay is my favorite band, but even if they weren't I would have loved this concert, it was perfect, it had so many original elements that you don't see in other concerts such as the butteflies confetti, magic balls, yellow balloons, the big ballons around the stadium, the backdrops, the B-Stage and C-Stage, The LRLRL CD, etc, etc. but especially the band, how they interact with people, how passionate they are in the stage, etc. I know I see all of it with fan eyes, but even a friend and her boyfriend, which went to the cheapest section and weren't big fans said that they loved it and that they were very surprised that they liked the show so much, for example they compared it with Madonna's concert 1 year ago (which was in the same venue) and they said that this one was better by far.
  21. Good bye to VLV era  I have searched and he's the singer of the banda PANDA (or PXNDX) which in my opinion is CRAP and BTW they're famous because they have plagarized many of their songs from famous american bands... so this motherfu**** is the last person in the world who can criticise about plagiarism
