1. I'm confused, isn't the show tomorrow? so why all these videos?
2. Actually we've heard the ending of another song, at the very start of this interview before they start to talk: It could be reign of love.
3. IDK Chinese Sleep Chant sounds like a grower, not really my cup of tea at the moment, but yes is awesome!!
4. Rating music is stupid. It's all subjective, it's like rating which pair of sunglasses are the coolest.
5. If anyone ever tells you "you know how I know you're gay, you listen to coldplay" respond by "well unless you are a retarded sheep, you must have listened to coldplay at least once to come to that conclusion, and thus you too are gay."
6. revolutionaries wait for my head on a silver plate
7. completely different from greys anatomy
8. is it the guy talking about hells kitchen and spongebob squarepants and a quiet day?
9. Is there a link to a website for this station where one can listen live?
10. oh god it's fix you
11. another album next year?
12. Aside from the strings the only vocals I think they used in the backtrack were the ooos at the end and the oooh ooohs. I think aside from the shakiness of chris' voice (due to nervousness it seemed) the vocals were pretty spot on.
13. 8:27 p.m. — Backstage in the green room. “Does this thing have Tivo?” Jack Black asked fellow visiters backstage watching the show. “I want to watch Coldplay.” http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2008/06/01/its-time-head-backstage-with-our-mtv-movie-awards-live-blog/
14. They tend to be more down to earth and "human" than other bands, part of their charm actually. It's quite natural to be very nervous playing a new song for the first time in a few years that requires a whole strings section live on a place like MTV with hundreds of celebrities who hate them deep down and millions of people watching. Then again of course there was the terrible PCD performance.
15. The song is #1 on US iTunes and the iTunes ad with it was played during american idol! Many have heard of it by now.
16. Can't someone just take a screen cap of it and upload it to rapidshare or something?
17. Ok yeah it wasn't their best performance, but seeing them back was pretty exciting. Chris was definitely nervous and I don't know what the others were doing with their instruments, and the actual music was much quieter than Chris, so a very nervous Chris dominated the thing. Not a good idea, and yeah Violet Hill should have been played instead. But still they are Coldplay!
18. I'm a little worried about how they will perform live. What I noticed with "How we saw the world" (post X&Y) was that Chris chose showmanship over vocals, in that he's running around everywhere but as a result doesn't sing that well. i.e. http://youtube.com/watch?v=w6YF_rYfmG0 I hope it'll be a good performance.
19. Does anyone know exactly when they'll perform?
20. The "depressing", "boring" and not liking Chris' voice top the reasons. Of course all those reasons are retarded, they're the opposite of depressing, completely NOT boring to anyone who's heard anything more than a couple of songs and Chris' voice is pretty amazing.
21. I could barely get halfway through this POS excuse for an article.
22. FedEx replied to Blissblu8's topic in Coldplay
Some say it's 42 but for the most part I don't think there is anything like that on this album, so do yourself a favor and drop that expectation.
