  5. I think Emily pretty much summed it up for me. I really don't care who or what you kiss. That doesn't really warrant a four-minute pop song. (She does have a pretty cool voice, though.)
  6. As long as you're not in front of me, that's just fine. :P Seriously though, I don't actually know.
  7. ^ That's what I thought. When I heard that it was coming out this year, I was like, "Well, I'm not so sure about that. I haven't heard anything about this next album. I don't think you know what you're talking about." And unfortunately my fears have been confirmed. I think we're due for some new Muse though. ;)

  9. My local radio station said to expect a new Muse album by the end of 2008. Even though that would be flippin' sweet, I call shenanigans, but does anyone else know if there's any truth to this?
  10. Mine's in my sig. I made it months ago using MS Paint and the X&Y CD insert like a sucker.
  11. Okay then, what's YOUR story, CityandColour? ;)
  12. Right, yeah, they were baby teeth, but still, a dentist removed them from my mouth, so I believe that counts. ;)
  13. 8. Funny story, kinda. When I was losing my baby teeth, I lost the first 8 or so in the "normal way" where it gets loose and you can eventually just pull it right out. But then one day I was chewing gum and I felt one of my teeth crack, literally crack. I think I was 11. I went to the dentist a few days later and he pulled it out. My parents were just kinda hoping it was a one-time accident, but then a few months later it happened again. My dentist determined that the roots of my teeth were so strong that they didn't want to detach and let the tooth get loose, that instead the pulp of my teeth would disintegrate and my teeth would just hollow out from the inside and pretty much shatter in my mouth. So my dentist ultimately had to pull 8 teeth from my mouth, some that were actually cracked or shattered and some as just a pre-emptive strike so I wouldn't have to go through it again. ;)

  15. There's been a lot of good suggestions so far. "Green Eyes", definitely, but only if one of you actually has green eyes. "Proof" would possibly work. Certainly "Til Kingdom Come" would work lyrics-wise. I think you could even use the entirety of "Death and All His Friends" (just cut out the "The Escapist" bit). The only downside is that the ending bit (where the male choir comes in) sounds (to me anyway) like it's in 7/4 time, which would be ridiculous to try to dance to, so maybe I'm wrong. "A Message" would be fine, same for "Swallowed in the Sea" or even "Warning Sign", maybe. Or "Amsterdam" with the whole "Stood on the edge tied to a noose, but you came along and you cut me loose" thing. Someone suggested "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face"...I don't think lyrically that works at all. And yeah, if all else fails, there's always "Fix You". Good luck and congratulations!
  16. Oh, come on now. "March of the Penguins" ringin' a bell? ;)
  17. When I was in high school, sure. Now? Not so much.
  18. "Gone for Good" -- The Shins
  19. "Knights of Cydonia" -- Muse "Amsterdam" -- Coldplay "Idioteque" -- Radiohead "Australia" -- The Shins "Plug-In Baby" -- Muse "Mexico" -- Jump, Little Children "Karma Police" -- Radiohead "42" -- Coldplay "Atlantic" -- Keane "Ruby" -- Kaiser Chiefs ...eh that'll do for now.

  21. I love the one, I don't even think it's an actual episode, when he reads the lyrics for that rap song "Buy U a Drank". The first time I saw that I laughed so hard. Other than that, I like the one where he changes his name to "My Lord" so the show became "Cute with My Lord".
  22. First time ever listening through the album I was wearing headphones alone downstairs in my house at like 11 PM. Then "42" came on and I heard that voice. I thought it was my brother calling my name; it sounded like my brother's voice saying "Mike!" I jumped a little and had to go back to make sure that was part of the song and that my brother wasn't actually calling me. :)
  23. Where do you live that the album is just being released?
  24. "Cave" -- Muse
  25. I'll sign up. But don't hate me forever if I screw this up. ;)
