  1. How would I do this from iTunes? Sorry, this whole uploading shenanigans isn't really my thing but I really want to participate.
  2. When I am king, you will be first against the wall With your opinion which is of no consequence at all What's that...? (I may be paranoid, but no android) What's that...? (I may be paranoid, but no android)
  3. Could you tell me how I would go about uploading these mixtapes to the Interwebs? Thanks. :)
  4. Just listened to all three songs, ready to offer a humble critique. First of all, great solo in "Lost It". That was pretty cool. :) At first listen, I thought "Lost It" and "Lights" sounded a bit too similar. I listened to parts of them again and didn't think that the second time. I don't know what it was that made me think that, but I felt I should mention it. "Unforgiven" was my favorite of the three. Listening to "Lost It", I could definitely hear the Bloc Party influence. Maybe that's just me. Personally, I thought "Lights" was too long. And finally, your drummer sounds great, but there were a few drum fills I heard (namely in "Lights" and towards the end of "Unforgiven") where he's too busy rockin' out to come in at the right time. Like, he'd play the fill, but it would go a bit too long and then the snare or cymbal or whatever would be late on the downbeat of the next measure. All things considered though, a great effort. Keep working on all that stuff, keep writing songs, and keep making music! Nice job. :)
  5. "Under Pressure" -- Queen ft. David Bowie
  6. I personally love it for pretty much the same reasons as everyone else. Wow, I'm not a non-conformist or anything.... ;)
  7. I don't drink, actually. :) Same question, since I'm feeling uninspired.

  12. Gina Carano... ...as Crush on "American Gladiators" 2008. Seriously. (and if I were gay, Matt Bellamy. No question. Or Chris Wolstenholme.)
  13. "What If" is one of my favorite songs from X&Y. Just sayin' is all... ;)
  14. If I had to put money on it, if Coldplay were to appear on Conan, it would be July 1st. I've noticed that, since Letterman and Conan are both in New York, a guest will appear on Letterman one day and Conan the next. Just this past week it's happened with Anne Hathaway and Jason Bateman. Just random musings...
  15. The only thing I know about this band is that Matt Bellamy recommended them in an interview so I've been dying to check them out, but Scottish stuff isn't so readily available in the States. Thanks for posting the videos! (Only "Daddy's Gone" worked; the other one was taken down.)
  16. My girlfriend dumped me out of the blue 7 months ago. I'm still attracted to her. But she's moved on and possibly hooked up with one of my friends last night. So I've got the weird duality going on in my mind where it's like I'm still attracted to her, but I can't stand being in the same room with her. I'm going completely out of my mind and have lost so much sleep over this. :wacky: I think I belong in the wacky shack. :wacky:
  17. Ah. Well now, that's just cheating. (just kidding. :D)
  18. Just reviewed the thread and I don't think anyone's mentioned Coldplay's "I Ran Away". I picked it up really quick in probably two hours (I'm not saying I can play it perfectly, but I know now at least how to play it). It's pretty simple.
  19. Oh...what was it...something about the stars. I think it was "Pray the Stars". Was that it? That sounds right. It was definitely "[something] the Stars". (Pilotview FTW)
  20. ^ From what I'd heard on the local news, most of the girls got pregnant by older men who are not students. THAT'S just wrong. The article that mc_squared posted even said that one of them was a 34-year-old homeless man. Jenika, I can see how you'd think that "Juno" glamourizes teen pregnancy, but I've seen the movie and she gets pregnant by accident, as opposed to all these girls who are actively looking to get pregnant. I really don't think you can blame a movie for that kind of behaviour.
  21. Ah!! I wish you wouldn't! :o :laugh3:
  22. Overrated: "Yellow" Underrated: "Amsterdam" and "I Ran Away"
  23. ^ Agreed. It's the only episode of "Scrubs" that makes my cry like a little girl whenever I see it.
