Are you saying that you cannot close your eyes right now and think of what a beautiful woman (or man, whatever your fancy) looks like to you? Do you know if you like girls that are brunette or blonde? Do you like a certain eye color? Do you want a potential 'mate' to have certain characteristics? Use your imagination. At your age, even with your lack of experience of any kind, you should be able to do that without the need of any visual aids. At this point in a young man's life (from what I understand) a slight breeze can cause an erection. It really doesn't need to be as difficult as you are making it.

I'm going to just say it. Stop looking. Just stop. Concentrate right now on who you are (believe me, I'm 31 and even I am just beginning to get a clear sense of who I am). There's an old saying that you find love when you aren't looking for it. I would gamble on that in your case. Just stop looking. Once you have confidence in YOU, others will have no reason to feel otherwise about you. :)

Many people relate to masturbation as dirty because often times it goes hand in hand (no pun intended) with the visual and visceral things associated with pornography. That's why I say to make it about romance and love. Hell, you can masturbate to the thought of what it will feel like to be in love! It doesn't just have to be a purely carnal need.

Masturbation has been known to quell tension of many forms...be it physical, emotional, or sexual. Many people feel that masturbation is a physical means of release. Now I am not going to lie to you and tell you that you won't want to do it as often as you can...you will...but I think that you will find that it helps with fantasizing, which in turn, will make you a good lover when it is your time to be one. I wouldn't suggest, based on what I know of you from your posts 2732, that you watch pornography. Porn can actually be as addictive as a drug, as well as stunt your emotional growth in terms of desensitizing. Masturbation can be as romantic as you want it to be. When I first masturbated I always imagined the wonderful man that I would want to be with. I made it more about how the experience would be as a couple in love rather than for my own selfish needs. Perhaps going "into it" with that type of mindset may reduce the guilt factor and the general misunderstanding you have about doing it in the first place.

I have felt this way about several Dave Matthews Band studio releases. Whenever there has been a new album about to be released, the same excitement can be felt quite palpably throughout the community of fans. Before the days of digital I would be absolutely beside myself with excitement on the fateful Tuesday when new releases are made available. There was something to be said for the "rituals" that were involved in the release of new music. I don't partake in these "rituals" anymore now that the music industry has gone digital. It is too easy to download music directly onto the medium I use to listen to the source. Sad, really.

One of the reasons that the crowd may not have seemed as into it as it would if the members of this board were in attendance is because MTV hasn't told them to like this music yet. Okay, so Chris' voice did not seem completely up to par. However, if this is one of Coldplay's first live performances in several years, this is to be somewhat expected. I, for one, was very excited watching the performance. If this is the jumping off point, it's only going to get better from here, folks!

I say that the acoustics at the United Center are bad because unless you are on the floor there is a lot of feedback thrown around. If you are in the first balcony facing the left side of the stage, at about the halfway point of the venue, it's like you hear everything twice. Ugh. I just hate it there.
