  1. Late night or early morning, depending on how you look at it. Do you have a Living Will or a variation of one?
  2. If I don't get to sleep soon, I won't be able to function tomorrow morning. Drew is snoring to beat the band, so I had better set up shop in the extra bedroom tonight.
  3. I am involved with competitions involving firearms and targets. I'm pretty darn good at them, too!
  4. Thank you for the feedback on my "hypothetical" situation. I've got a secret, though. It wasn't a hypothetical, at all. I was asking for myself.
  5. I feel a bit of the Perv welling up inside me.
  6. Well, I wouldn't say it if I didn't believe it to be so. So...thank you! :D
  7. I don't care who you are, that's funny. :laugh3:
  8. Exactly! Eno is known for precision, and he has mastered Coldplay's sound in that way. I think that some people would say that this amount of influence could be detrimental to a band's signature "sound", but I think think in this case, it was a welcome change.
  9. Lustre and passion can be interpreted as the same thing, I would imagine. Would you agree?
  10. That's what I thought the original poster meant by his question. In response, I do not believe that Coldplay has lost their passion in the slightest. As a matter of fact, I would be inclined to argue that Coldplay has brought an even more forceful passion into the making of LP4 than their previous entries. Perhaps it is due to the religious influence (in whatever capacity it meant for the band) or because the lack of communication the band had with one another was restored in working with Brain Eno. Whatever sparked this surge of creativity, I like it and I think others do, too. What exactly made you feel as if the band had lost their passion? Are you more of a fan of the epic songs with a lot of build in them? If so, I can understand that hearing a song that contains different elements may not necessarily be to your liking. But you know what they say...Opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one. :D
  11. True! :D
  12. my hair needs to be cut in the worst way
  13. In the middle of foreplay last night, I called my boyfriend Chris. His name is Drew. He actually laughed and said that I have spent way too much time Coldplay-ifying my life lately. What a great sport. :D
  14. Ummmmm, because I'm a newbie around here, I figured I would ask this crowd... If I have been changing my desktop wallpaper, cell phone wallpapers, work station wallpaper to pictures of the band and have found myself daydreaming whilst staring at these pictures...does that qualify me for the beginnings of PERV-i-ness?
  15. Apparently you will soon enough! ;)
  16. Okay, hypothetical situation... Let's say that there is a new member of this board that has never heard Muse before, but notices the love for them by the members here. What would you suggest that person listen to in order to familiarize themself with this band?
  17. In about four hundred more words, I will have completed this damned course. I hope it's as simple as I think it will be.
  18. Well, for me, music is quite an essential element for me. I tend to connect music to events in my head. So, music during sex plays a role like that for me.
  19. Did you ever see the Robert Goulet SNL sketch with Will Ferrell? He has a staring contest with a mountain goat, and ends the contest by saying "You win. You always do." Yeah, that's how I read that. :laugh3:
  20. I'll bite. I was 20 years old and it was in my bedroom on Christmas night. I had purple Christmas lights strung around my headboard made of metal. Each light glistened twice as bright that night. "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" from Pink Floyd's Pulse album was playing. The guy I was with was my first love. He was gentle, sweet, and extremely loving. He took it very slow to be sure that I was comfortable. Eventually he and I grew apart for many reasons, but, I always measure a man for consideration of a relationship based on that initial experience and standard. There ya have it!
  21. The paper that has virtually rendered me powerless the last few days is complete and turned in....thank....GOD!
  22. You have found the bright side of the situation and I love you for it.
  23. They played it two or three times during the American Idol finale tonight. It looks like the global domination is well on its way.
  24. I just noticed this, too. Hmmmm.... :dozey:
