  1. I'll put it this way, Chris is in my "three people I can cheat on my boyfriend with" list.
  2. I saw them here in Chicago a few months back. Unfortunately their sound does not translate very well in the live setting.
  3. Training lobsters for the job would be more suitable, I think. ;)
  4. I have GOT to finish this paper. Shit!
  5. I was going to say the exact same thing! :D
  6. Brixton Academy has been holding steady at 72% in the last two hours, for me.
  7. The commercial was played just over the half hour mark.
  8. I was in the midst of an intense conversation with my boyfriend with AI playing on the TV behind where I was standing. When I heard Chris' voice, I whipped around so fast that I thought I was going to get whiplash. I got a wicked case of the goosebumps seeing and hearing that commercial. It's official...I'm obsessed.
  9. I think I'm in over my head and I feel like a complete failure.
  10. We are due to get some announcement on Wednesday, May 21.
  11. This leads me to believe that eFlat is correct. I think they will release DAAHF as a b-side album. Oh, Wednesday...why does it feel like you shall never arrive?
  12. I am a 31 year old female from Chicago, IL, USA. I work for a medical record company and attend school full time for a healthcare administration degree. I have been a casual Coldplay fan since 2000 and a recent convert to a Coldplay obsessed lifestyle. I have been to one live show, August 13, 2005 at Alpine Valley. My favorite album is ROBTTH and my favorite song is "Swallowed in the Sea." My friends were all casual listeners around the release of X&Y, but most of them have moved on to other musical interests.
  13. I have never had a dream about the band, collectively, or the individual members...but I know that the music must inspire my dreams at night. For the past, oh, four months or so I have played my playlist "Sing Me Sweet" which consists of all of my favorite Coldplay songs. Subconsciously I hear it all.
  14. I can agree that Faithfully is a great song...But, in my life experience, it was the theme song to at least three formal school dances, and is played at almost every bar in Chicago on any given night during the weekends. I swear, if I never hear "Don't Stop Believin'" again, it will be too soon! :laugh3:
  15. Any Journey song. I don't understand the resurgence of their popularity in the last few years.
  16. Really? You've never been ill due to a flu or other illness since you were that young? Wow. You must have a stomach of pure steel! :P
  17. I have to respectively disagree with you on this. In the past several years, there has been a major surge in support of soccer related activities here in the United States. Take for example, the addition of David Beckham to the Los Angeles team. I know a fair amount of women have started paying attention to soccer for this reason alone. Let's face it, ladies like to see shirtless, sweaty, athletic men. My alma mater has grown their soccer program tenfold over the past ten years. I think that this is happening in many affluent areas that are supported by international businesses. Now, this could just be coincidence, but I doubt it.
  18. "Allison Road" by Gin Blossoms
  19. Hello and welcome!
  20. I'm sure there is a possibility. Perhaps they did not announce it due to conflicting events at their first choice of venue.
  21. A few days ago. It was nerves from school that made me ill.
  22. I don't even know who that is!
  23. That would be nice, but I doubt that is what they'll do. Maybe they are planning on making the entire VLV experience interactive. Whatever it is, it can't come soon enough.
