i've only had time to look at this page... but i was at this gig, and it blew my mind when chris said the previous night's audience had been great i knew that we had to blow them out of the water!

EVERYBODY! (ADHD, sorry) No Line on the Horizon came out here today and in the part of the booklet where they thank people, they mention Jay Z, Michael Stipe and....[drumroll]... CHRIS MARTIN which makes Bono's comments really weird. I mean its not remotely funny. And the BBC really doesn't want any more "bad behaviour" now does it?:dozey:

i don't know man, from what we've heard it may be the best thing they've ever done. certainly the most innovative. i hope its the center piece of lp5. i know thats a lot of faith in a song we haven't heard but i got the right feeling bout it. great song title too. :)

Hahaha loved it, great send up, great fun and wonderful attention to detail. Finally living up to the promise of the Talk video when the band said they'd be doing visually arresting and altogether different and unusual videos in the future. :)

We've got a few new songs like Dubliners, Famous Old Painters, Leftrightleftrightleft and Lukas that wil either be on another EP or LP5. Hurrah! :) (I hope)

I went from seriously disliking Lhuna to having real affection for it. Oh it'll never be one of my favourites but hey, its different, and that's not bad.

Hey! Do NOT bring logic into this:P Famous Old Painters is akin to the Holy Grail in Coldplay's world. 'Nuff said. ;) "Lhuna" is the character Phil Harvey becomes on week-nights. :worried:

it is getting to me the more and more i listen to it. coldplay at its best is seductive, beguiling and completely slips in under your skin until you wonder how you lived your life without their latest song! :lol:

EDIT: Maybe it'll grow on me. Right now, not convinced. No "Homecoming" or "All Good Things" for sure.

agh when you plan a huge multimedia launch you need to get them all out of the gate at the same time! giving people lots and lots of artists who used to be something when they played at woodstock in the 70s isn't the way to go! c'mon lord saint sir bono you can do better than that!
