See I'm of the belief that outside of band stuff what any of the members do is up to them! Unless it was having an effect on the band then there isn't really any need for us to discuss it is there? The example of when Chris was asleep on the ferry is one that did bother me quite a bit, that's a rough time and the last thing he needs is someone snapping away and then putting pics all over the papers and internet. Obvioulsy Gwyneth getting attention is acceptable for obvious reasons. On another band's forum that I use you are not allowed to discuss their families etc or post pap pics which have infringed on their privacy i.e. if they're out and about with their kids and families etc.

Jealous of all you guys going to the RAH gig!! I'll be waiting on reports and pics when you guys get back ;)

I totally agree! You can't compare them. They're both different! I don't think that their music is similar at all and their fan bases are different too. Coldplay and Radiohead both have successful shows in America...the person who wrote that article is an ass :rolleyes:

I can't wait for Robbie on Loose Women, it should be good!! :D Also for anyone who is interested there are a few more appearances coming up: Jonathan Ross this Friday (the 6th) I think it's on at 10.35pm on BBC1 On Sunday there is a few different programmes on 4 music; including them showing the video for his new video at 4.05pm. Then next Wednesday he's on Radio 1 in the Live Lounge :D Lots of Robbie stuff coming up!! Yay!!! :D

I was having trouble choosing between Viva and Lovers in Japan but in the end I picked Viva. It was just awesome when the crowd were all singing along and jumping up and down.

Yeah they did 2 songs on 1 show and then 3 songs on the following show... At the moment its chasing cars :D Just Say Yes sounded amazing earlier too. I really hope someone caught these and can post links! I can't remember what the first cover they did was :shocked2: My brain is fried today... :laugh3: There's another live track coming from them after 3pm and apparently it's a Madonna cover ;)

I'm listening to the guys on radio 1 right now doing New Sensation by INXS and it's rocking!!!!! Woooo!!! Gary's voice is souding fab!

I wish that was happening in the UK!! Still, I'll be getting the DVD. I can't wait to see it, I saw them live earlier this year and they were amazing. :D

I've been a bit addicted to Please Just Take These Photos From My Hands and Disaster Button lately :D Disaster button is an awesome song and each time I hear it, I love it more!

I've listened to the album too and I'm loving it. It's much more commercial sounding than Rudebox and I think it should do better than that too. Although, it did get to number one, it just didn't sell as much as his other albums so people branded it a flop...it sold a few million, I don't think that's a flop... anyway I'll shut up now before i start ranting! Rudebox era is gone and Rob's back with a bang!! :D

Whatever happens, I'm just pleased that a 5th album is on the way!! Didn't Chris say in an interview at some point that he'd like to have another album out before the end of the decade (i.e. 2010), although I could have imagined that :laugh3:

His new songs sounded amazing at the Electric Proms last week. I was lucky enough to be there and Robbie was on top form. He sang and danced through the hour and a half and he looked like he was loving it! He's definitely back and I just hope that people outside his regular fans will give the album a shot :D

Electric Proms tomorrow night, how excited am I?!?!?! I shall try and put a report up on Wednesday or Thursday :D

Hi Ceader's Child! Nice that you found your way to the SP thread ;) I'd say start with Final Straw, that's what really opened my eyes to them and then follow the timeline. The first two albums from them are very different and I know a few people who don't like the first two albums at all but love the albums from Final Straw. Personally I like all their stuff ;)

I've been listening to the tasters since they've been up on his site and I'm really looking forward to the album now!

I have read it, I thought it was a good article. I prefer ones like that where the interviewer speds a bit of time with the person rather than these quickie interviews where it's all the same questions :rolleyes:

I'm not sure how they decide who the winners are either... I guess we'll find out as it's going on *shrug*
