I was a skeptic before I saw the youtube videos comparing the melodies and harmonies, and I have to say Coldplay are screwed. It's a shame that it has happened to such a great band and that previous 'likenesses' whether incidental or not have gone unnoticed. Let's just hope album #5 sounds more original or that some other band becomes more popular and in the firing line.

Dude, get on the Vegemite band! Everyone loves vegemite! :laugh3: I think the band's response was very professional, but I am unsure as to what we can take from their statement. In my view, I believe the band and their management believe this is going to be a really serious case that , unfortunately coincidently occurred, and they don't really want to give anything away at the moment as to their stance on the whole situation. I do get the vibe they are gearing up for one hell of a case, whether I love Coldplay or not. And as an oasis fan, its nice to see another band not wanting to 'start a scrap'!!! But it is entertaining.

This was brilliant news! I have always wanted to see Blur live, but I think there is a slim chance if they do have another world tour that Australia will be included. Here's hoping, anyway.

'Rainy Day' is a NICE song... I have a thought, though, that it will definitely be included in the setlist when they tour Australia... This is how it'll go on the night. Chris will make a joke about the current drought in oz, and then say we should all join in in singing 'Rainy Day' in an attempt at a rain-dance-thingy. It would go down well in my books.
