Yeah and also I guess the fact that Kings of Leon are like $90... the Australian media will be ALL over it. Big day out tickets are $130 to see like 30 bands...

Coldplay in Australia March 2009 Just got really excited at the news that we will finally get so see them live, but was shocked to see the possibility of $145 a ticket. Now I am not sure what fans in other countries paid, but I would love to see whether this stacks up in terms of fairness... So excited but angry at the same time, but also waiting for some more confirmation due out soon..

What a great read that article was!! Dont mind being called ugly and boring, I think being an Oasis fan as well as a coldplay fan cancels that out. When liam's voice is on song, they are electric - ill agree w' that. Bring on the new album.

The first one is disgusingly underwhelming.. and I cant believe we had to wait so long for it. Colours, crappy effects, no excitement. Boring. I love the song, but that was a really poor effort. If I see that version on Channel V this week I am going to throw up in anger. On the other hand, THE SECOND ONE IS AWESOME!!!! Has the same vibe as 'Violet Hill' video, a really interesting story, keeps the watcher engaged. Really impressed with it and it is exactly what I always envisaged the song to be about. COME ON COLDPLAY DITCH THE FIRST ONE!!!!

maybe if CDs were more competitively priced.... I'd buy heaps more. I just borrow CDs from the local library who get them in and I import them into itunes. It's legal, and anything I cant get I buy. Saves me money

Yeah Season 2 Should be awesome, apparently at the moment they are working on new songs. I watched a doco called 'FOTC: A Texan Oddyssey" (its on the torrent sites) when they were raw as, (aka b4 the tv series). Was really interesting how small and wierd they once were! And how bret's sideburns were once bigger than Jemaine's!! Oh yeah- and also I agree that Murray swearing is the number 1 funnest moment of the WHOLE series.

Anybody else ABSOLUTLEY LOVE the flight of the conchords?? As a new zealander of 12 years I find them classic. And Murray, Band Manager is a legend.

What a great gig to go to - Courteeners and the rascals!! In terms of the new album, Rascalize - I am very much looking forward to it. From their 2 Eps already they show glimpses of being pretty good. Their new song 'Freakbeat Phantom' is an absolutely wicked sound.. I love the bass guitar in the chorus!!

- Crests of waves - A magnificent B-Side that complimented the 'Clocks' single - One I love - Again, B-Side from the 'In My Place' Single - The World Turned Upside Down - A B-Side from the 'Fix You' Single - Violet Hill - It's Copping an ABSOLUTE beating on the front page Poll. (just because its not as new???) - White Shadows (Off X&Y) - love the intro and chorus.

The three parts is a great initiative, all so contrasting but seem to blend in so well. I didnt like it at first but it has grown on me and is one of my favourites on the album.

I agree entirely. This guy must get off on being such a lowlife. I wouldnt want to see an attack on a band and their fans written about ANY musical group. What a real shame.
